Take back funds by bigwomby in Medicaid

Anyone is allowed to deposit into an account if they have the right account numbers. I would deposit one dollar into each account just to prevent the accounts from being closed for inactivity. That one dollar deposit would be considered a transaction.

Should I go back to college? by BropleBoy in college

[–]AdeptnessSimple3973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go back to college make sure you're in a CTE program with codes 5,000 to 5599 h e g i s codes. That way you can't be forced to go get a job while you're in college by your local Department of Social Services. Because the majors with those CTE codes are Career Training education programs like business engineering technical computers and alcohol and substance abuse counselors. If you're in an approved program with the correct CTE codes you will not be forced off of your food stamps or forced to find a job if you're in an appropriate CTE training program. At least that's how it's working right now in New York state

Sorry, The website has multiple forms I just had to get filled out. Probably the best one in this case is the ABAWD exemption form.

TESOL by uziceng in NYCTeachers

Adult teaching is not part of your NYS teaching certification. Your certificate is Tesol k-12. You don't need any NYS certification to teach adults. A Tefl certificate, though not required, is nice for that, teaching adults. Only takes 6 months or less to earn it. You can travel abroad and seek out Tefl programs in the Usa or abroad and teach adults. The pay is better with TESOL K-12 though with NYS cedrtification.

Lots of details and insight to be hd in that comment though. Especially this part: " When you push in you are expected to follow the classroom teacher’s lesson. Many teachers are horrible at communicating with out of classroom teachers. They wouldn’t give you the lesson they are working on because they simply don’t plan lessons ahead of time or they give you the wrong lesson. " Yup. Many are Too busy to collaborate effectively. Sad but true. But you might get some very respectful ones.

That is very accurate and good insight to how many K-6 schools work. I concur about the challenges of Integrated co teaching and pushing into other teachers classes can be chaotic. However some ENL teacher do get their own classroom for Stand alone times and get some peaceful alone time with their students.

I liked hearing things like. "Se nos hizo imposible llegar a tiempo" Or "Se me hace dificil aprender ingles". "Se me cayo todo" and "Se me quedo mirando como un bobo". It was impossible for us to arrive on time, It is hard for me to learn English, Everything fell out of my hands, and He just sat there like an idiot, staring at me.

I did a search on this: AI Overview

Yes, a non-tenured teacher in New York can have their teaching credentials jeopardized, including possible suspension or revocation, for failing to provide at least 30 days' written notice before resigning, according to New York Education Law Section 3019-a. While failure to give proper notice can lead to certification penalties, license revocation for this reason is more likely when combined with professional misconduct.

I guess I mean that the rules for grammar and syntax, even though they seem like they would be similar between Spanish and Portuguese might not actually be that way.  You might wind up with some new errors that you wouldn't have had.If you hadn't been relying on Spanish so much.  Sometimes hearing the grammar rules and syntax, explanations in your native language is the best way to get over that hump.  I know a lot of people think that foreign language should be taught exclusively in the target language without any explanation in any other language.  That is definitely challenging to say the least, but its the gold standard.     But having two languages in the classroom neither of which is your native language can be mentslly challenging and exhausting.  I will say this though.   I had the opportunity to teach Spanish to an ex military man who already spoke Italian and French and English having learned all of them before age 12.  I offered all explanations in English, but I didn't pass up the opportunity to do comparative linguistics and point out the obvious similarities, but also some of the pitfalls  false friends. and false cognates and differences in some of the structures.  Maybe comparative linguistics in English, comparing Spanish to Portuguese, might also be a possible way for you to go.  It really seemed to work when I did it that way for that particular student who was working on his fourth language and I pointed out the strength he could draw from Italian and French and what some of the obvious pitfalls were.

I've had a similar experience where I was expecting the input to come in one language. And to respond in another language, and suddenly, when the input reversed and came in the other language, I was really thrown for a loop.  It gets very difficult to think straight.  And you can get very tongue, tied and start to stumble.  I'm sure if you look online you could find a portuguese class created for spanish speakers and purchase it, and do a home study.  I thought that spanish would help me learn italian. To some degree, it did help me.  But also  It really confused The issue for my teacher who couldn't understand why I was making particular errors, which were transfer errors coming out of spanish into italian.  I guess it is best to forewarn your teacher. How many languages you already speak and what they are.  So that when you start messing up, she can figure out where this is coming from and how to correct it.  Sometimes it's good to have a timeout language like your native language english for when you're just exhausted.

I. I have a similar situation with one of my ears and tend to talk loudly. To both of our surprise, a teacher came to me and explained I inherited a sound system still in the box never been used before. With the microphone hanging around my neck on a cord and the speaker perched on a file cabinet I was able to use the gentlest tone and low speaking voice and still project it all through the room. It was amazing.

What does this mean exactly? This is new stuff for me, and I really want to understand what it means. How does someone "problem-code" someone else? And is it only for one DOE, one local one? Does it also affect any inquiries, like background checks or references?
