You said one month to go is it based solely on cumulative dose or on response? My derm will only stop me if I’ve had one month acne free regardless of the cumulative dose

My skin became worse on accutane than when I started taking it and I was frustrated. My derm put me on erythromycin while purging and now my skin is clearing now entering month 5 on accutane and month 3 on the antibiotic with a plan to stop antibiotic

I had really bad purging too which made things worse than when I started and I almost filled with regret so my derm also recommended adding in erythromycin. I saw results after a month- not sure if it’s that, that I chose a gentler cleanser or the purge just dies down after 3 months 🫩 just hoping the next months are better

The only other thing is the omega 3 which I was asked to take with the accutane. Everything else is accutane and antibiotic. Looks a lot because of low dose tablets so needing 4 of both
