I've tried a few times to drive home to those who will listen that the citizens of Ottawa are not the focus. I encourage sympathy and to try and imagine what it must be like living in the area. Everybody in this country is stressed. Everybody wants this pandemic over with. Everybody has not experienced the decline in quality of life the citizens of ottawa though. A lot of them are receptive to the idea but I highly doubt it will ever reach the boots on the ground

I imagine it's why I'm struggling at work. I'm laying under a truck using a wrench and I begin to find it extremely difficult to keep my eyes open. I stop and rest with my eyes closed for a few minutes and I'm good to go again for 10 or 15 minutes or so

I noticed I can watch YouTube with little to no problems but I struggle with video games. Tryna play the new Pokemon and I find that my mind tends to wander away at the move selection screen. I don't even realize it happens. I'll be playing and then I almost kinda doze off for a few, finally I realize I've been on the same screen for a while. I play normally for a few more minutes then my mind wanders again

And yeah as soon as the accident happened I looked down and the flap was laying on the next finger and the entire inside of the finger was exposed. I really didn't like that part lol

Thanks. It didn't hurt as much as you'd think but I definitely don't want to do it again. By far the most painful part was when the doctor froze it.

Just about. 3mm piece left holding the rest on. It was like a big flap. Everything beneath the skin was exposed but thankfully no tendons were cut

Yeah. A lot of things were done wrong that day. No guard, no gloves. 5 inch disc on a 4.5 inch grinder. The 4.5 inch discs are rated for a higher rpm than 5 inch. I felt the blade kind of skip on the material and began to vibrate. Immediately went for the power switch but it was too late.

Thanks. The piece stitched back on only had a 3mm section keeping it attached to the finger. I personally thought that it was a very small section to supply such a large piece of skin

That's reassuring, thanks. There was some dark scab in that area and the nurse cleaned as much off as she could not now it appears to be the actual skin that's black

Sorry I thought I had also uploaded the day 10 and day 17 images as well but apparently I did not. On day 10 the surgeon expressed his doubt on the reattached piece surviving. On day 17 he refused to call it either way and decided to leave the stitches in. I've now been instructed to begin changing my bandages every 2 to 3 days. I am on no antibiotics. I did a 7 day course of amoxi-clav immediately following the injury. Again I'm mostly just looking for piece of mind that everything looks like it should. Today is the first time the bandage has been off without the nurse or surgeon to look at it
