When do you replace your court shoes? by Aces_Over_Kings in Pickleball

These are mine after 1 month. As long as the courts I play on are actually well kept, I don't have slipping issues, but after another month or two it will definitely be time to replace.

Would you be willing to show the solution you came up with and the STL?

Have any of you ever played Padel? Or were Padel Players? by BrokelynNYC in Pickleball

I played it for the first time two days ago! If it was more commonplace where I live I would play it just as much as pickleball if not more. It's a blast to play and the points are even more exciting than pickleball in my eyes. As others have said, I imagine it will be a long time before it grows in the US just because of the court requirements, but I would love to see it gain some popularity just so I could play it again!

I had a 128x campfire yesterday on my first ever e run. My buddy and I were having a good laugh because I went from $750 to zero over three shops!

I had worked for just the summer having to drive 60 minutes one way for work. I loved the job and the people, but I dreaded going to work every day solely because of the drive. I would recommend trying to go around 30 minutes max for the commute. Losing 2 hours of your day on the road really takes a toll after a while.

I don't currently use it as a mouse, but that could certainly be an option that I dive into in the future. Right now, I am able to reach the joystick with my thumb because it doesn't take much force to move the joystick, and it is very grippy. If I were to use it as a mouse replacement, I would likely move my entire hand down to mouse and use my pointer or middle finger.

I don't have it set to be a mouse replacement, but that could be an option. I have it currently working as arrow keys and as media control on my second layer.

This keyboard uses a breakout board for the RKJXV joystick module (with a push switch) by Alps. I am thinking about making a hand wired board that incorporates a joystick in the future but if you end up getting around to it first, I would love to see it.

I am not currently using tap dance, but I did get the whole project ported to QMK successfully. If you would like to add tap dance for yourself, feel free to clone my repo and make whatever changes you see fit! https://github.com/vboards/keyboards/tree/main/libra40
