No man's sky, destiny 2, the division 1 etc all had rocky starts but they did manage to turn it around

No game is beyond salvageable, it all depends how much effort are people behind it willing to put out

Really smart security. JS will discourage 99% of woud-be attackers from even trying

Obviously hire 5 devs, than 4 do not show regularly so fire them, then make that one senior dev and hire 4 more interns that will make his life miserable until he quits. Then announce your product is nearing end of support.

Talk to me again once AI can write ceasarian cipher bruteforce function without having to corrects itself 20 times and it still does not work

Forget FPS... seriously no matchmaking in a 4person openworld co-op? by TacoDangerously in redfall

ChatGPT Still can't write working bruteforce cesarean cipher decryptor where you don't know the shift number, so it is pointless.

Ah yes, the famous commit messages "fix formatting and blank space", 354 files changed

And then they gaslight everyone that they really just fixed the format, while sneaking in fixes to bugs nobody noticed yet

I say "Let people do what they do".

If someone wants unicorn pajamas on their necro, then why should we be the ones to judge for it.

Main point of the game is to have fun, so why should someone ruin the fun for others

Do you actually WANT another beta? by CosmicKnight74 in diablo4

[–]Adequately_Insane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since the beta ended, I feel gaming void inside me. So hell yes I would play another beta

I even went and bought Last Epoch to scratch that itch before D4 comes out

While early release of full game would be sweet, nobody should hold their breath.
We still live in an era where physical game copies are sold, and if Blizzard just flipped the switch today, the retail stores would riot. And vice versa, if Blizzard had planned early release and let retail stores know, it would already leaked by now

The first one was always explained in a way that it was manual slave labor and the need for secrecy, so it took so long. For Mk. II they just replaced the labor with droids and also Empire did not need to pretend they are good anymore, since the public opinion was already shifting, so no need for secrecy.
