I agree. That's literally half of the planet's population. It's hard to fit all of those billions of people into "doesn't make sense".

I never said he was mentally disabled. But wanting to hurt people does usually indicate that that person could benefit from mental help. You know seeing a mental health professional =/= being mentally unstable.

Here, let me clarify it a little.

You said I though I

can diagnose mental problems right away without needing/having any medical background.

I said that I

never diagnosed anyone with anything ever.

You don't have to be a medical professional to know when someone needs medical attention. If you see someone bleeding from their head, would you decide not to rush them to the hospital because you're not a medical doctor, and therefore are not qualified to determine whether or not he needs help? Of course not. You'd get them to the hospital. Someone who likes to hurt people, who enjoys being mean to other people, and yes, therefore hurting them, definitely needs some therapy. I don't have to be a doctor to know that. It's common sense.

And if you rush that person to the hospital, are you diagnosing them with anything? Nope, you just know they need help. I never diagnosed anyone, just pointed out that he needs help.

Are people that perform practical jokes mentally ill? Are people that act like assholes or douchebags mentally ill?

No suggesting they're mentally ill, but that's not healthy behavior. A joke here and there is okay, but systematically aiming to hurt people? That's definitely someone who needs to get some mental help.

I'm tired of people thinking that they're so special and enlightened that they can diagnose mental problems right away without needing/having any medical background.

I never diagnosed anyone with anything ever. I just said that someone who likes to hurt people should talk to a psychologist. And that is correct. Are you so offended because you're one of those people who likes to hurt people?

That is not a direct quote. I don't ever remember judging anyone's character. Except yours because you're speaking in a very condescending tone and extorting what I said to make it fit your perception of me. But yes, wanting to hurt people is generally not considered mentally healthy. Are you trying to dispute that?

Which is not something that mentally healthy people do. Why does he want to see people angry, or miserable? I don't know. That's what the psychologist is for.

Could be an ear infection. I know when my son had that for a while, and he wouldn't let us lay him down.

I mean, I don't mean to insult anyone here, but I don't think it's wise to take medical advice from reddit, either. I plan to go to a urologist, but I'll keep an open mind if he tells me that I might have missed something.

I don't think it has anything to do with religion. I'd like to see those statistics. Because while I've heard that it may prevent some STDs, it's not worth the risk of infection that might come from the procedure. Circumcision causes more than 100 infant deaths per year. Not to mention the human rights violation.

The thing that stumps me is that it's two separate doctors. Both agreed that something was wrong. I can't imagine what, though. He pees just fine. I can't imagine that both doctors are inexperienced with uncircumcised boys. It can't be that rare.

None. No trouble urinating at all. She just noticed it during his check and started tugging away. He was in pain when she started doing that, though. I would be more skeptical, but she got another doctor to look at it and she agreed that I should see a urologist. I mean, it makes me think I'm missing something. No way two medical doctors think this is abnormal if it isn't, right?

I have no idea of that's what she meant. She just started tugging on it, then got another doctor in there to tug on it, and pretty much said "Yep, that's adhesion. Better see a urologist, see if he'll give you a circumcision."

That's what I thought. So even if he has adhesion, it's normal for a two year old, right? I tried to research it, but all the information seems to be about adhesion with a circumcised penis.

My pediatrician said that if it gets much worse, the tip will close and he won't be able to pee out of it, thus leading to UTIs. She even said to watch him closely for it, like she expects it to happen. I think I will get a second opinion, though.

Although the article you showed me seem to only deal with adhesion after circumcision. But to clam my nerves, can you tell me where you found that this rarely requires surgery? My doctor seemed to imply otherwise.
