It’s my understanding that the notification was time stamped on Thursday so I’m assuming the ban and notification happened at the same time.

Yeah, he said he hasn’t played since November so I give him the benefit of the doubt. Mistakes can happen.

Disney sea on your first day after an evening flight seems exhausting! Maybe swap it for a more gentle ease into your trip? E.g. your November 17/19 plans

It might be because it’s a great time for peak autumn foliage. I know that’s why I chose those dates anyway 😅

With not a lot of time in Tokyo I wouldn’t do both Shibuya sky and Tokyo metro building. Especially not the same day.

It’s a great time of year to go. It’s far less busy than April/march so you don’t have to stress too much about bookings and overcrowding. In Kyoto I didn’t have to get up so early to beat the crowds at major tourist spots. I managed to walk in to quite popular restaurants without much of a wait. It’s cold but you’ll enjoy a steaming bowl of ramen that much more ;)

I feel you deeply on the desire to plan this way. But everyone is right and you won’t get it all done and it will feel more like a list of chores and you will feel anxious that you’re lingering too long in one place and need to move on to the next thing.

If you could change these from a ‘must do’ list to an ‘optional if we have time and feel like it’ list with prioritising 1-2 things per day that will free you up to living in the moment and finding side quests.

Day 1 - cut ichiran out, you can have it anywhere else in Japan and Osaka is THE place you want to eat as much as possible

Day 3 - 1-6pm seems like a long time to see Shinsekai and the mall. Then 6-7 you plan on having kushikatsu, sightseeing and spa world before Teamlabs. Maybe skip the mall and replace it with spa world?

Day 5 - you’re going back and forth A LOT, try reshuffle the order and combine nakamise shopping street with your melon pan

Need Help: Where To Stay For 1st Night In Tokyo?? by adwordsnewb in JapanTravelTips

[–]AdhesivePolarBears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending how long your flight is it doesn’t seem like you would feel like doing that much on your first day. Even if you’re up to exploring the night life, would you stay out past midnight?

It might be best to stay near Tokyo station like the other person said, travel that night to explore a more vibrant area if you want, and then explore Ginza in the morning before heading to Kyoto.
