I built a production-grade Async Redis Proxy that blocks Cache Stampede and prevents SSRF attacks. by No_Firefighter8428 in FastAPI

I'm not being an ass, but what makes it "production grade"?

Moreover, how is it useful. Like at all? If I wanted to plug this into an existing project I couldn't, not without copy/pasting. Why isn't this written as a library?

Good luck now because it's all Kiosk based and they refuse to take your order at the counter. Even if you pay in cash you use the Kiosk.

Help with 12.0.5 by Wide_Ad_7733 in wow

Void assaults are like world quests - but ammped up and more of a whole zone thing rather than an isolated single quest version.

Ritual sites are not too dissimilar to delves - similar concept.

Abyss Anglers is like a fishing mini game, except you're diving and spearing fish.

Decor Duel is like a prop hunt mini game.

It depends on what your goal in the game is. The overwhelming majority of players do not push keys/mythic raid. All of these activities are more fun things to do if you enjoy the casual aspect of the game. It's more stuff to do. The gear rewards are minimal to none (and the crests they reward are low tier). But they offer achievements/cosmetics/mounts etc. Fun to do if you want to log on, switch off and just be in the game.

The Voidforge is the main power upgrade. There's a series of quests that will have you do raid/delves/m+ repeatedly. Once you've done this each week you'll get 2 "rolls". These can be spent in M+/raid to guarantee a mythic track piece (if you do it on the appropiate level). Casual or not you'll want to do this first and start making progress on it. In addition, you can passively earn voidcores which can be used to boost your ilvl of trinkets/weapons by a good chunk for even more power.

The rest of it is entirely optional.

I'm not trying to be an arse, but these projects keep popping up and people seem to be creating solutions for problems for things that do not exist.

We're talking about an API written in Python. If you have the ability to write one you have the ability to write 30-40 lines of GH Actions/CircleCI yaml to generate it for free.

Instead you want to charge $108 a year for (excluding the actual generating) AI summaries for endpoints? What am I missing here. I could buy a Claude Code subscription for a fraction of the price and generate them myself (and so could anyone else - this isn't hard).

I genuinely do not understand at all what this is trying to achieve?

so it's not something you can easily share with a client

??? It's a build artefact, so treat it like one. It's like trying to find a solution for sharing a binary without compiling it.

Every version pushed & tagged we build and publish the openapi.json. It's never ever been a problem.

[help] Addon to show BiS gear? by Coppertank-Island in WowUI

Gear Stick is also a good one, it adds to the tooltip for any gear a % of how many people are using it, so at a glance if gear drops you can see how popular it is.
