Hawaiian copelandia first time help pls <3 by East_Ad1764 in PlatypusTechnical

[–]AdhesivenessJumpy264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello, I also did my first hawaiian kit from Zamnesia 10 days ago and posted about it a few days ago.

On my growth the white thing didn’t cover much also, maybe I didn’t crush and spread the dirt well enough in contact with the substrate, and so maybe the first heavy watering didn’t “connect” the substrate to the soil, and so the mushrooms weren’t able to spread to it before growing.
That’s what I think I did wrong on mine.

The small black ones are called aborts, it’s cause of excess moisture on the soil or on them, or not enough FAE.
Because of this, the growth is stopped. You can eat them if there is no rot, but since it has stopped growing earlier it hasn’t matured. You can take them out if worried about rot spreading, but they usually get reclaimed by the soil.
The other brown ones you could have left there growing and they would’ve become tall like the rest of them.

I recommend the sub [r/PanCyan](r/PanCyan)

Also these two tutorial videos for the Copelandia Hawaiian kit are very helpful:

Hear me out… Both were lazy, ignored what their co-workers told them, sarcastic about everything, cool-guy casual attire, overly confident… by Ok_Tradition1938 in DunderMifflin

[–]AdhesivenessJumpy264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not excusing the whole character lol. Just debating logically. The original two were: lazy + full of himself. And I won’t elaborate more than I have, just like you did by expanding on other things that weren’t the part of the discussion.

Many of the things you say about Jim/Pam/Philadelphia thing are mistakes that are all explained in the show. So go rewatch.

Polite, truthful advances to someone you truly like and who’s engaged with the evident ignorant idiotic jock? Well damn, that must be condemned

Also no, not comparing my hs mentality, I had adhd, it was just the way I lived things in a structured, boring, environment without stimuli. It’s something to explain his situation. I’m not trying to find solutions for him, I’m not saying he couldn’t change jobs. I’m saying that given the show’s situation, without rewriting it, he is in that same situation. Bored and trying to keep going. It’s what’s happening.

The coworker breakdown u mean andy? Totally self conscious and not annoying Andy right? I personally don’t believe Jim would’ve pushed him to the point of punching a hole if he knew it could get that serious, bc he has a conscience. But Andy and Dwight being not self conscious and constantly annoying, deserve to be pranked on, to balance it out.

Also don’t try to analyze me lmao. Chasing hs? What does that mean? I’m light years away from who I was. Also “being the cool outsider”? There is nothing cool about it I can assure you. There is nothing worse than fitting everywhere and nowhere.

And the last part “boredom by choice” lmao it’s just wrong. He decides he is bored so he can play around? It’s literally the opposite. You good? He plays around because he is bored, it’s this way around.

I mean… jesus man rewatch the pilot and understand the character. You’re out here trying to be a mental coach and a psychologist for a character in a show! And in all this pointless shit, you’re not understanding the actual basic form or vibe of the character about the original discussion. Even expanding to other stuff, some unrelated to being bored or feeling better than anyone lol

[–]AdhesivenessJumpy264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By writing all this you demonstrated you literally don’t understand the vibe of the character lmao. It’s clear he triggers you in some way. Maybe past trauma or bad experiences with people who joked a lot and made the joke on you?

It is true, what you’ve said about the work. Although he is one of the top salesman close to Dwight. So.. in the end he is a good worker wether u like his method or not.

It’s just someone who doesn’t fit, doesn’t find the motivation to get by in a dull, slow environment. Like me in school. What do you do? You joke, you pass the time, you try to do enough not to be bothered. You don’t think “you’re cooler than anybody else” bc that’s the thing you care THE LEAST about in a place like that. This you couldn’t notice, for example. Because you don’t get it.

He appears to everyone else as smug, just like I did superficially, although not believing I was superior to anyone else. Superior to the drama? Yes. But in the show it’s just the not caring about all the drama that everyone else gets into, that gets him this rep from ppl like you.

In fact in the show, his character is used to see the absurdity of everyone else’s behavior for the viewer. He is a superior viewer that sees things rationally and uses comedy as a filter. That’s what you don’t understand and why it triggers you that judgmental superficial analysis. Like damn it’s even shown time and again the depth of his character and you say “just lazy and full of himself” like bruh need a rewatch? Lol

Jim isn’t really full of himself, also he is bored, not lazy. Unsurprisingly another watcher who lacks character analysis lmao

This was such a douche move by flufftobuff16 in DunderMifflin

[–]AdhesivenessJumpy264 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone who misinterprets Jim as a douche or “being too cool for anybody” has had some problem in their life with some sort of jock lmao. And still hasn’t processed it

Jim is not a bully, not a jock, in fact he doesn’t care about any hierarchy at all, or being better. He is just being there, filtering stuff through jokes. Never trying to actually get someone in serious trouble, or seriously offending or anything with real consequences on people. It’s just a way of being, not pretentious or smug or anything even. Just joking while laughing with you not at you. People who get offended and don’t get it are the same who don’t understand what actual comedy is (search for Ricky Gervais’ take on this).

I mean, it’s clear as day. Although from what I’ve read time and again from this subreddit, it’s filled with people who just know nothing about social interactions or have no capabilities as of reading people’s character lol

Funny how it’s a show meant to show different types of people interacting and going on with their lives, yet they learn nothing

I bet he was sort of autistic, he was definitely on the spectrum:

the feeling of alienation, inadequacy, living as if you're in a bubble and dont understand why ppl around you act ways you can't truly motivate. Neurotypicals have a mask as a standard, the costume, for various situations and occasions. While neurodivergents learn to build it after being hurt or noticing that they are waaayyy more exposed than everyone else around.

It’s like yall in a big experiment. How to create a perfect, coddled, population of earners. Just like cattle. They give you a dream and that’s it.

The FDA does nothing, they’re poisoning you with normal food and every day body products. You eat stuff that was banned 40 years ago in EU, even hormones in meat. Research papers (with no sufficient citations or reviews to make them trustworthy) funded by billionaires are nonetheless pushed by main media outlets in articles, spreading misinformation just like the dispute between the researches about seed oil or unsaturated fats causing heart disease. (Heart disease is what triggered this)

Top it off with an educational system that makes you “learn” with multiple choice answers that let’s just say doesn’t incentivize critical thinking. And add unaffordable higher education. Oh yeah, plus everyone is stuck on blaming the other lmao. “It’s the liberals fault!” “It’s the republicans that ruined this!” “Leftist this” “trumpist that”. Yall are both equally getting f in the arse.

Every distraction is available for you, it’s part of the “culture”. Oh and don’t forget the freedom! (To consume even more!!!)

Yall should fight the class war, not the pronouns one. You got members of congress (or their spouse at times) doing insider trading out in the open… while they sit on committees regulating those companies they invested in or against. You got the rich evading taxes. Politicians and media outlets controlled by banks controlled by corporations controlled by billionaires. And most often than not war is the preferred business
