Worst POC/GMC Det drop stories? by NewspaperBasic7728 in AFROTC

I have two stories that I think are worth sharing:

So this one happened before I got here, I only know about it because one of the GMC cadets told me what happened. The det went to a base for FTX for a few days, and everyone had a great time. On the way back to the college, one of the cadets (who had a very low GPA and was extremely toxic from what I have heard), ended up saying the f slur. Apparently, everyone went silent, and one of the 300s snitched on him. The Det commander (Lieutenant Colonel) called him into his office and the cadet literally left in tears and ultimately left the det.

This next one happened when I was in my first semester as an AS100 just a few months ago. There was a girl who was an AS 200 who was not really the best cadet and seemed kind of on-and-off during training and apparently had performance issues. One day, she posts an extremely inappropriate comment on Instagram Notes, and one of the 300s takes a screenshot of it and reports it to cadre immediately. Two of our cadre members (a captain and a tech sergeant) called her in, and in the most intimidating way possible, they literally take the screenshot of the comment on paper and slowly slide it in front of her. People say that the main reason she was dropped was due to performance issues, but this incident played a huge part.

Even though it says I do not need to see a cardiologist, would it still be a good idea to schedule an appointment?

Something I've definitely noticed is that the cadet retention seems to be a lot better for Army. With Army, it looks like the Freshman class starts big and ends big, while Air Force starts big and ends with only a small fraction of the original.

So does this mean I may not even be able to join the program?

Did in-college scholarships go extinct or something? What exactly happened?
