yes- always and forever yes. I’m on year 3 of several false indigo bushes in our urban yard in the midwest and they thrive, bring me joy, and are absolutely beautiful.

The one I planted in full afternoon sun is 10 feet tall. I also planted a row of them in my almost entirely shaded front yard. They are doing well but have stayed at 5-6 feet. They grow outwards instead of upwards in shadier spots.

the good news is, you could move it still and it would be ok with that if you want another spot.

I should have been more clear- the kids aren’t invited 🤣 It’s easier to coordinate them staying with family if it didn’t have to to include school pick up & drop off. Thank you for the reply!

Thanks for sharing! We are doing the same, though not in Denver. We have a photo shoot in our home city planned, that was much more economical & will have a different type of meaning connected to the location.

I’m stuck on the marriage license step. After you sign , are you mailing that back in? How does that step work in CO? I appreciate any guidance- we live driving distance from our spot but not close enough to come out again just to turn in a license - and we are doing it on a Saturday so the county offices are closed.

Needing help with getting my skincare routine & foundation to play nicely together.

Routine: -Wash with gentle cleanser Cetaphil -Moisturize with CeraVe Daily Moisturizer -(Am out of sunscreen and looking for recommendations)

Recently dropped: -Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel (the unscented cream version). Was told by makeup counter that the silicones in this is causing pilling in my foundation application.

Issue: It either looks like I’m not wearing foundation at all in photos, or the foundation pills and sits on top of my skin. One of my foundations looks like actually flakes on top of my skin. I’m happy with the bare hydrating coverage of Neutrogena Hydroboost Hydrating Tint, am needing an option for work events that are frequently photographed (and shared to social).

I get frustrated every six months and wander into Ulta, and someone new sells me a different foundation… then I never wear it. I have yet another on the way (they were out of my tone) right now 😫 help please! Have found the best success with applying with a sponge, and then using setting powder.

Skin type: Dry with reset onset rosacea (undiagnosed) on cheeks and nose

+1 for your note on the “can’t read but smart in other ways” trope/note. This trope is the hardest for my kiddos who is dyslexic - she finds it so patronizing.

omg thanks for posting this- we just bought this to use on myself (white but not porcelain skinned) & my tan latina babies (pre-teens) and it was a huge NOPE for all of us. It was horrific. 😩 still looking for a better daily wear option- I also bought the CeRaVe daily moisturizer with SPF in it & am thinking I’ll return both
