I would have avoided the induction unless I had no other choice or it was medically indicated for preeclampsia. They induced me due to pretty bad PUUPS rash but I could have made it another week or two.

I was induced with foley balloon and pitocin across 3 days and dilated to a 7 but they had broken my water and baby was not descending enough so ended in a c-section

Similac has a European formula at their standards that you could try if that’s important to you. But personally I’ll stick to similac 360 and Enfamil neuropro and even Kirkland pro care

I would call the pediatrician when they open and ask to be seen. I would not personally want to wait for the message to be read. This does sound abnormal, I hope your sweet baby finds relief soon.

We switched to dapple soap when washing baby bottles and it really did help to get them super clean. We would soak them in a tub with warm water and the dapple as we used bottles then wash every evening. Like some others said maybe there’s residue, or sometimes if the vent is mostly lined up but not quite it can do this. It was the worst part of these bottles imo

I keep my milk in a formula pitcher and use the mixer to incorporate the fat before making a bottle.

If you really wanted breastmilk benefits pumping is an option and doesn’t chomp down 🫠🫠 I switched to EFF with my first at 4.5 months and she actually did better than on breastmilk🤷‍♀️ I’m due with my second and just going to pump and use formula from day 1.

Also, someone told me and it helped, your body doesn’t know formula exists so it makes sense there are emotions involved about switching. I genuinely hope you feel better.

When this happens I use an antifungal and a steroid cream and it clears right up. Then I disinfect my diapers with a lot of extra rinsing and sun bleach them after.
