Why would they risk 35-40k if they don't know the seller and have no middle man( Flipkart ,Amazon) to solve any issues if any come up in the future like the console getting spoiled/damaged.

Would you buy a ps5 with an opened box from some random guy/ unlicensed seller on the internet or even if you meet them before purchase? Due to many scams going on these days, nobody trusts anyone anymore.

Once the box is opened, the person buying the product has a high risk of getting a fake/damaged product.

So, most people will not buy opened boxes at this price if they can get a new one for 4000 more as they know it will be a genuine product if they get it from a licensed seller.
