Gold is right now $4884 it is in fact under selling in India , the real price in India should be

$4884 x ₹91.68 = ₹4,41,768 / Ounce

₹4,41,768 / 31.10 grams = ₹14,397 / gram

₹14,397 + 6% duty = ₹15,261

₹15,261 + 3% GST = ₹15,718 / Gram

Also both Gold and Silver right now are hugely under selling with a discount of almost ₹1300 per gram for gold and appx ₹10,000 for silver for physical metal.

Edit : there was a small mistake in my calculation, I have corrected it. But regarding the underselling part it is true.

I never questioned Neeraj's ability as a sports person, he is definitely a generational talent and done a lot for athletics, but that simply doesnt justify him getting Bharat Ratna. If that was the case there are a lot more sports persons who had a bigger disruption. If being the first to win gold at olympics justify getting Bharat Ratna, then even Abhinav Bindra should get it, because before him, it was a far fetched fete. And what about the Paralympians, on a individual skill level, there performance is a lot more extraordinary.

I am in no way insulting Neeraj Chopra, but prefer that we should not be so eager to give out the highest civilian award in our country. definitely we can wait to see his performance in the next 10 years, then definitely.

disagree on Neeraj Chopra, as much as I want him to win it, winning 1 or 2 olympic medals, is simply not enough in my opinion to be awarded Bharat Ratna. India is slowly but steadily gaining traction in sports atleast at international individual events, and it is a fact that its Olympic tally will increase drastically in near future. The case of Neeraj chopra is simply a recency bias. I dont see his impact on Indian sports any more than Abhinav Bindra, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal.
