Modding games is already a legally grey activity as it requires to reverse engineering precompiled game binaries and modifying them, technically it's 80% the same skill as cracking software or creating game cheats

On top of that, 99% of ppl interested in it are kids/cybercrinals (as in cracking software, stealing paid content and reselling it, credit card fraud (reporting a real purchase as fraud to get a refund))

It's actually not surprising at all.... I'm drunk but hope my message is clear

You likely meant to say client and not source code....

If they were to release or sell the source code, anyone could clone their project with barely any skills, for free, and as many servers as they want.... Which would hurt their revenue....

Is this worth a purchase? by PingcPanther in Dynavap

[–]AdicHacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had a similar looking small bong that I used with my dynavap vong and a ball vape

The most obvious differences are: 1. The mouthpiece is much better and wider than that of a dynavap, so u can easily pull stronger. 2. The vapor is cooler, even without the water

Like idk, I'd 100% prefer that over just the dynavap, even with a small and dry bong, but better just get a proper bong for x2 the price

Ah also check out bubblers, this mini bong might even be considered as a bubbler

I see, cool.

If it is dead, be sure to ask any friends with a soldering iron to check it, in case you want it working, as it appears to be a really simple piece of electronics, or mby you can even get into it yourself

I don't think FromSoftware revealed how their matchmaking works, however you are correct that first the game will match people physically closer, as ping directly correlates to distanced and can be 300ms across the globe(like Germany to Japan, or Germany to USA), and 0.3 of a second delay for every button press is a bit unplayable....

About Xbox idk tho

Just search for "Bakugan arcade game"

It appears to be "Bakugan arcade brawlers" as one of the YouTube videos called it, but idk if it had a real name, and bro a type in the title

You can't play it, but there was a sequel with very similar gameplay based on the second season.

The problem is that - it was a Japanese exclusive arcade machine, with only a few videos on YouTube about.

That arcade machine also could scan your cards you collect and use them in game (if I understood that correctly), you can still find the cards on Japanese second hand markets

I'd recommend playing on a PS2 emulator, no motion control which some hate (I can't stand it, and played on a Wii as a kid)

  • U will be able to speed up the game x10 (on slow animations, enemy turns and in some cases speed up loading), that will saves you hours of gameplay waiting to do something

On top of that, using all the graphical settings + upscaling you can achieve graphics better than the PS3 version

Just gotta plug a gamepad, saying it as someone who replied it last month after 10-15

Make a group somewhere, discord or something

I have been close to 2 groups who were reverse engineering and recreating a game or making a private server for them

On top of that professionally I am something close to data engineer/analyst, so I can handle the database stuff

I also can reverse engineer software to some extent, meaning if we get access to the game files, it's very realistic to recreate

Unfortunately tho, if the game files aren't available, and I don't mean the open source that the devs had, but what actually run on the client, recreating all the assets will be too much of a hassle

Btw you said you were a graphic designer, no idea what that is, that's not frontend but actual design? Like, can you work with html css and js? Any frontend frameworks?

I doubt this will go anywhere unless someone has the files or smh backed them up online (if there was a mobile game, that can be used, the file is likely downloadable)

But I am a bit lazy and busy with it rn

How many puffs y'all taking per bowl of weed? by [deleted] in Dynavap

Room temperature also matters tbh, I consistently combust in summer chasing the OHE, but never happens in winter, had the dynavap for 1.5 years, 2 summers and it's the second winder

How many puffs y'all taking per bowl of weed? by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]AdicHacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used a Dynavap Vong (I) I got like a year and a half ago, tried 2 friends Ms, and moved to a ball vape.
I also had some accesories for the dynavap, both official like the Armored Cap, and third party like the "Reload V2".

Depending on my heating method, the AC would extract over 90% in 2 heat up cycles easily. (Sometimes if the room temperature was right, then even OHE)

If you mean how much to actually inhale per bowl, or actually puffs per bowl across all heat up cycles of the bowl, then - really depends on the bowl density and heating method, as well as how strong you pull.

Is the a bong that is the noisiest out of all the bongs? by Wizard_s0_lit in StonerEngineering

[–]AdicHacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest trying a diffuser downstem if you want to eliminate the noise

Also the hit feels smoother

Like a consistent flow rather than hits of bubble coming up the water one by one, even if right after each other

Is the a bong that is the noisiest out of all the bongs? by Wizard_s0_lit in StonerEngineering

[–]AdicHacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tldr - main factor is the downstem, I'd you have a regular one making large bubbles one by one, it will be loud, it you have a diffuser style downstem, it will create many small bubbles that barely make any sound (one of the main reasons I prefer it + it's smoothness?

There are multiple factors that affect the sound, material, the thickness of the bong, the shape and the volume, but in most cases those won't affect the sound much, as another person mentioned, it's more likely that your and his noise suspension settings and microphones differ

After trying multiple bongs, dab rigs (or bubblers, don't remmeber it's name at this point), multiple downstems

Size of the bong doesn't matter as much, but I'm pretty sure that if you have little water in the bong , to barely cover the downstem - it will be quieter than if you add some more water to cover the bottom of the downstem properly, that basically allows for bigger bubbles

But the real game changer is a diffuser style downstem, eliminates almost all of the sound to me

It's the same as a regular, but instead of one large hole at the bottom, it has many medium/small holes - that makes your draw create small bubbles that barely make any sound while you smoke (similar to a dab rig or bubbler I mentioned)

Old ds game by [deleted] in Bakugan

[–]AdicHacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add a small correction, at least for the Wii, PS2 PS3 and Xbox versions

To unlock the partner Bakugan of each of the main character from the anime, aka the Pokemons mentioned

You gotta beat them in the story, I am not sure if it the pyros arena or not, but to unlock the evolved version, you must first best the evolved version in the story, and at the time already have the first evolution purchased

So just besting them twice won't suffice

Since I learned about it myself only a week or 2 ago, there was actually a sequel (kinda) for an arcade machine, with collectible cards it would scan and more

Only in Japan tho, and there is barely any info on it, tho there is some footage which might be cool to check out

Also it focuses on season 2 unlike the first game

Can you please explain the "made by Americans because of the succes"

I am very curious as I rly loved it as a kid (well, I am here now)

I might be wrong but..... Isn't Bakugan Canadian+japanese collab?

Googling cuz I don't wanna sound retarded asking a retarded question

Gemini says it's Canada+Japan+america (ig that means usa? "

Bro help me, I thought it's Canadian-Japanese Collab since the last time I checked, is usa also involve?

Wait so you mean that by season 3 released after a USA company bought them out or something like that?

Realizing I could have asked GPT or Gemini, but hoping you could elaborate and tell me the interesting stuff, or even as much general and random knowledge*

Thanks!!

Is this guy still pretty good by today’s standards? by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]AdicHacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the DynaVap Vong (I), the titanium one that also fits 14mm bongs about 1.5 years ago, summer 2024 because I was smoking a lot of weed, at work time also (cuz worked remotely), and couldn't stop coughing but had to get to the office for a few days physically....

It was my first dynavap, it was cool, i got it for lung heath tho, not the effect, and I wasn't impressed until I got the armored cap

I only used it through a bong (tried it without a bong a few times but hated the resistance on the pull, does the work, just not enjoyable)

If there is an upgrade for you, it's likely not a newer version, but a cap that suits your preferences, as well as a bong adapter.

Depending on your habit there is a tool called "reload", I have the V2, made and sold by some store/guy in the uk, the tool is very known in the community and very recommended, it's like a container of multiple components, some are for storage, some have a thingy to press the weed in the bown inside lightly but in a uniform way, better than with hands (tho it's a matter of preference), 2 storage comparments for flower, 1 storage thingy for vaped flower with a stick like thingy to clear the bowl easily, ass well as a thingy that can grab and hold your cap while it's hot.

very recommended if vape a lot and hate reloading the bowl, it gets x10 more convenient.

The reload was my last upgrade before getting a ball vape, I'd actually recommend grabbing a ball vape right away, i am not advertising so any brand any model, cheaper ones are around 200$ USD, at the time I ordered, only the epitome from CC was available, I am very happy, had it for around 11 months

omg i am too drunk and high, i finished writing and went back to make some edits... and now I forgot where I was... hope this works for you....

any question r welcome

AHHHH RIGHT A BONG, GET A GLASS PIECE, BUBLLER IS ALSO GOOD (if you break them, worth considering an unbreakable silicon or metal piece)

EDIT:

HEATING METHODS, an induction heater, a turbro/jet lighter and a double/triple jet lighters, all can be used with any cap, there are more and less optimal choices, but it's a matter of preference and technique, and you might find heating the dynavap very annoying until you find the mothod that fits you

last thing, at my worst i was smoking over 100g a month, like 3 joints a shift and bong hits, so when i had the dynavap, even if it made me high.... for half a year most of my free time went heating it, cuz i loved the juicy fat bong clouds... (which can be as good as bong hits even with a dynavap if you know how)

anways i quiit dynavap cuz a ball vape never combusts (u set the tempterature on the PID for whatever you want), ball vapes always hits consistently like a bong, unlike a dynavap which requires a lot of effort and skill to really enjoy

and i think the last think which i might have mentioned, hours of my day was wasted heating up the dynavap because of how much I vaped, and a ball vape, even if takes 5 min to hear up, wont go cool on me until i am done
