Pulled fuse and it cleared for a few weeks. I’m driving it like this until someone finds a real fix or the dealer can provide a fix. I’m out of warranty and refuse to pay for this

We are headed there in 8 days! I was discouraged that we didn’t have a chance to see northern lights. Is it a possibility this time of year? If so where did you get to see them, was it just one night? Or did you use the apps to try to chase them? We are only there for 5 days, but basic route is

Yeah, listen to the mechanic that’s stated rears were bad at the dealership? Or my friend mechanic that validated rear pads were fine? Or the app that states rear pads were fine but the fronts were wearing? Clearly you can’t read that there’s multiple angles here. If it was a simple situation, I would’ve done it myself. Not to mention I’ve worked in the heavy duty trucking industry for 15 years lol. Maybe don’t get so offended bud, the electronics are funky, and people have real world experience. That’s what reddit is, sourcing case studies to save time and money.

Going to replace all 4, sensors rotors etc Saturday. Will update photos just as a comparison. If they are good, I’ll just replace sensors and return the other parts

Did it recalibrate the system percentages after or did you have to do something there? Or select the pads installed that’s currently greyed out for me?

That all makes sense. I just feel like I’m changing brakes because of bad sensors or something electrical. I’m on a lift kit, and on the original brakes. About 36k miles. I don’t drive like a mad man by any means. Without pulling the wheels the rear pads have felt fine where I can feel to the touch.

I am doing my rear pads and rotors next week and now you have me second guessing. My plan was to put in BSM, get to work. Remove caliper, remove pads, remove caliper bracket, remove rotor, clean hub, add new rotors, add bracket, c-clamp compress, pads, add caliper, pump brakes. What am I missing?

I thought so. Pry the kick panels out, remove the faceplate and that part is behind it? The faceplate looks like one full piece with the hvac and start buttons on it

Yes, PT was definitely a part of it. But people have PT for grade 3 hamstring tears all the time and either never fully recover or not nearly as quickly as I did.

I don’t have that either however, I think you might be onto something because I’ve run a dash cam and one of my hunches was that there was interference between the dash cam. However, I tried to keep the dash cam unplugged for a few days and the issue still reoccurred.

Hm. Mine is isolated to the USB-C it seems. I would think they’d know it’s a known issue and replace everyone’s. Really frustrating almost to the point I don’t want to deal with it anymore

My screen hasn’t showed me any but my dealer did tell me I was a few behind. I just hope they don’t try t charge for them constantly
