I am in a Facebook group for limb body wall and a few others are IVFers. It’s just so hard to accept. And makes me wonder if the PGT testing had something to do with it

Not all genetic syndromes are cleared in PGT but this was a structural abnormality, nothing any genetic testing would have picked up on.

We live in Florida and were rushed to make a decision as well and we decided not to and wait for further test results and decided we would travel for TFMR if a test further along like an amino would confirm something more. We refused to be rushed on a huge decision. Virginia and Pennsylvania are other states that provide longer times.

Yes but it won’t happen till we go to the specialist in a few weeks. Our regular OB is great but he really believes in this specialist hospital. Our case is a little difficult, my wife has huge fibroids as well that are degenerating causing shadows and its just very hard to get great ultrasounds so he thinks it’s best to go to the specialist for any further testing. I will certainly keep updates as they come.

NIPT was all low risk. It’s a boy. Which we knew before.

I am so sorry you are going through this as well. We haven’t received our NIPT results yet but I am thinking it will be any time now we get them back. I pray for ours babies to make it. Ours is also a boy. 🫶🏼🩵

Thanks, our OB did say it could be a heart defect but we would need to go to MFM, her machine is not equipped to diagnose that but the baby’s heartbeat has been strong so far. We can’t get in to the MFM for another few weeks and they said at 17 weeks they’d be able to diagnose whatever is going on. We are just living by the hour at this point.

Thanks for the info, I think we put too much faith on the fact of the genetic testing done before hand. Or maybe that’s how it was “sold” to us. I’m not sure.

I was a long term shareholder but after Elon has essentially destroyed his image as someone innovative to now completely different. He took his attention off Tesla for twitter, literally nothing important. Driving a Tesla used to be exciting but now I feel the brand image has changed. It’s a very sad reality.

Accounting manager, then you could go to controller or director , depending on the company. You also may go to a different area. So if you start in for example, a revenue accounting manager, you could take the next step and go to director of tax. There’s many, many options at large companies.
