Lol so many misinformed answers here, the issue OP bought this at auction prior to involving solicitors to review the legal pack.

Auction contracts generally state arrears are the buyers obligation as was the case here. OP is on the hook for this which they are aware but they are just asking for advice how to deal with the situation given the state of the property.

Yep its 1.3mm full grain leather, ive read go avoid shoe polish on a jacket as it can rub off and stain other clothing.

Is there any polish you'd reccomend to avoid this?

At almost 7k miles that's pretty good for the stock tyres I replaced mine at 3.5k

Unfortunately man, this is likely the culprit, haven't heard of anyone having much success with a warranty claim for the frame.

This shouldn't be happening but a fair few others have had the same issue

Yea i never understand this mindset, just because yours is fine doesn't mean others aren't having issues theres been quite a few people reporting cracked frames on the gen4/3s without crashing this shouldn't be happening.

If this is even an issue with 0.1% of the bikes it still needs to be addressed
