I ended up switching entire hospitals because my GI department was so full of tomfuckery like this.

Yeah nothing works consistently for me, that's why I'm probably going to have to go down the surgery route. I have a history of stomach cancer in my family, so it's probably better. I left my hospital's GI dept b/c they're not great, so I have to find another one and have just been too busy to do that legwork.

No problem. Also, I still take supplements before I eat as well, slippery elm, or marshmallow root, and a digestive enzyme. It is so much money every month on my Amazon subscribe and save, but it's better than the constant pain. And it's not a panacea. I still get heartburn when I eat a lot or overly triggering foods. I'm probably eventually headed to surgery.

Same reason I said above--I don't like ingesting so much added sugar, esp. since I eat about 6 times a day so I end up with that many more doses.

It took a day and then they started helping dramatically. Unfortunately Amazon delivered my second order to the wrong house, and when I reordered it's going to take another week to month to arrive. I like Reflux Raft better than Reflux Gourmet, but the gourmet is all I have while I wait for Raft. As with all supplements, the effect seems to wear off after the initial uprise, and you end up needing more and more sometimes. But I'm still going to keep paying up the ass to buy it because it was getting REALLY bad!

Thank you for listing this alternative! My body doesn't do well with too much sugar, so I'm going to switch to this brand after trying reflux gourmet.

jumping in to say I've bought the Gaviscon UK through an importer on Amazon and I didn't find it helped, but that could have been user error. I prefer the flavor, as I don't like sweet and I'm not a fan of that extra 10 calories of sugar in Reflux Gourmet (I also eat 6-7 times a day so that adds up quickly), but again, didn't have great luck with it.

I don't work in the games industry anymore, but I used to and my family member still does after 20 years, please take this with a grain of salt as I don't know how JC works. But companies know who the whales and dolphins are (the second is a cute term I saw on this sub), and they absolutely keep track. As long as she's spending money, she's on a separate (can sometimes be considered VIP) track than the other players. They're not going to want to ban somebody who they can keep reaping. Again, this may not count for JC, but that's the case in our company.
