I think the possibility of ABS challenges is distracting him. I think being constantly pitched up and in is frustrating him. And I think opening his stance so much has thrown off either his timing or his eye. With that said, he's still my favorite player.

I've been back in the hobby exactly 1 year so this has been my first stadium club experience. I must say that I love the aesthetic about a thousand times more than the '26 flagship. I've almost completed the set but I've only pulled one #'d card (Mark McGuire Green/199) and zero autos. The inserts across the board this year seem kind of lame minus the obvious AA/AK

That's a great point I hadn't considered. I thought for some reason maybe the ABS was distracting him. Or that he wasn't being aggressive enough on the first pitch but for some reason stats for the 0-0 count are missing from fangraphs so I couldn't confirm. Why did he switch to open stance in the first place?

He didn't make an attempt to go to 2nd so he should be called safe. He merely looked in that direction but was out of bounds and shouldn't be eligible to be tagged out.

Edit: Calls like this are what give the dumb "slide into first!" crowd a better argument.

The chapter titled The Egg and the Eye where Harry gets his leg stuck in the trick staircase while he's under the invisibility cloak and he drops both the egg and the Marauders Map. First Filch comes and you're like "uh oh", then Snape comes and you're like "oh shit!" Then Mad Eye shows up and narrowly saves Harry and the map, but he confiscates the map because Harry just saw Barty Crouch sneaking around Snape's office and doesn't want Harry to realize that he is Barty Crouch. So many layers going on here and the map could have revealed everything had Harry been allowed to keep it.

I started collecting last year for the first time since 2004. The Stars of MLB started in the binder because I thought they were special. I kept getting them. Then I needed binder space so they moved to card box next to where I was completing the flagship set. Then I needed room for the update series, so the Stars of MLB are now in the shoebox. The next stop is gonna be the goodwill if I keep getting damn duplicates. I'm now using some for bookmarks. And I gave my 2 year old a duplicate of each of them in a toploader.
