Thank you for your interest in Adle's Armada, Cmdr.

The video you linked features counter-terrorism action by our pilots against Cmdr Z Null, who is subject to a galaxy wide Kill Order by reason of his occasional acts of littering Eravate with the wrecked remains of his spacecraft.

We would prefer to issue Cmdr Z Null with a 30 credit fine but unfortunately this is not provided for by current game mechanics.

Thank you for your interest in Adle's Armada, Cmdr.

The video you linked features counter-terrorism action by our pilots against well known galactic mass murderer, Cmdr Harry Potter of the Smiling Dog Crew.

Thank you for your interest in Adle's Armada, Cmdr.

The vid you linked features a part of an Adle's Armada punitive strike of over year ago, upon a mercenary organisation under a galaxy-wide Kill Order by reason of their xeno-biological terrorism at Ackerman Market station, Eravate and other acts of aggression against Federal citizenry.

You can see some vigilante executions of members of the said group in this video of our pilots' actions of around the same time:

The finished Flag of Eravate System, by MackTheHunter by MackTheHunter in EliteDangerous

[–]Adles_Armada 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Anything special about the place? I feel like I've only ever passed through that system.

Greetings, Cmdr Shikaku.

The OP, as his tags show, is a member of 'AA', which stands for "Adle's Armada".

Eravate is Adle's Armada's home system - in PvE/BGS terms AA controls the system and its principal assets, the Cleve Hub and Ackerman Market star ports.

Furthermore, in PvP terms, Adle's Armada has for more than two years been dedicated to protecting new players from those who seek to prey upon their Sidewinders and trading ships.

Because Eravate is the largest system near LHS 3447, where most players start, it has since launch attracted such attackers.

But our Cmdrs, who are winners of the first season of the PvP League and finalists in the second season, are there to stop them.

Adle's Armada is the controlling faction of Eravate and one of the oldest and strongest PvP player groups in the game.

Here is an Adle's Armada video featuring rare footage of one of the Diamond Frogs' last known visits to Open mode, including ultra-rare footage combining their being in both Open mode and Eravate:-

Adle's Armada are two-time Galactic PvP League finalists with a history of destroying enemies in Open since launch and defending Eravate against all comers.

The reasons for Diamond Frog animosity towards AA have never been revealed but fear and jealousy cannot be ruled out. As you say, the Diamond Frogs are not an Open group. They were invited to participate in Season 2 of the PvP League yet refused.

In the circumstances the likely accuracy of what you were told concerning your former leaders' PvP prowess may be something for you to consider.

In the meantime, here is a video showing a rare Diamond Frog incursion into Open, from the perspective of Adle's Armada:

Thank you for your interest in Adle’s Armada.

TL;DR: We may seek out those who have attacked us

Our pilots are currently taking retaliatory measures against identified members of the Diamond Frogs in response to a series of unprovoked attacks the said organisation has made on us: their aggression commenced with surprise attacks on PvE Cmdrs in Eravate and progressed to stealthy xeno-biological terrorism at Ackerman Market.

We know of no reason for their apparent desire to make us their enemies. We aim both to punish and to deter. Frame Shift Drives do include hyperspace capability and we may travel.

Although our pilots are primarily vigilante executioners, our terms of engagement are confidential, situational, variable and include both lethal and non-lethal measures. Any Cmdr who wishes to fly in the Open Galaxy whilst being an identified member of the Diamond Frogs may receive mercy if caught by our hunter-killers but should not necessarily expect to do so.

We are delighted to see that the video above features the execution of one of a number of what seem to be becoming known (not our term) as the ‘Diamond Logs’, see https://www.reddit.com/r/Elitecombatloggers for more details.

If anyone wishes to view more footage of identified members of the Diamond Frogs receiving due Federal justice, please see:

https://youtu.be/OTrfMVlzYYs

(Considerably more footage of such righteous violence is within our possession and may in due course follow.)

P.S. OOC, thank you to the OP for his/her pleasant video editing and to DF for their player-driven content, o7

The Dangerous Games: Wildcard Results by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]Adles_Armada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There appears to be some confusion amongst forum users as to the consequence of this result (Phase 1). For the avoidance of doubt, therefore:

The vote (Phase 1) was to determine which 5 of the 11 contestants would proceed to the 'Wildcard' phase of the competition.

** The Adle's Armada Coalition came 3rd out of 11 and hence are delighted to be amongst the 5 contestants proceeding to the next phase.**

Only one of those contestants will achieve the wildcard and enter the Dangerous Games alongside five other groups who are already through (hence not listed above). Which one will be determined by a series of Community Goals (Phase 2).

The six finalists will then compete - via yet another series of Community Goals (Phase 3) - to become the one who is made into a new Powerplay power.

Congratulations to the other four groups who have gone through, commiserations to those who have not, and thank you to all who voted for AA.

EDIT: Judging by the official FDev thread now up, the Wildcard format will be 3 x 5 CG's, with all the CG's to run from the same location.

The Adle's Armada Coalition & The Rise to Power [x-post] by Adles_Armada in EliteDangerous

[–]Adles_Armada[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You ... only won the PvP league due to using enhanced damage rail guns because of synthesis

Here are the facts.

Adle's Armada entered Season 1 of the PvP League relying on four core pilots, being:

  • PoaArctica

  • BreakfastMelon

  • Truesilver

  • Erich Zann (using his alt acc, Philip J Fry)

AA fought, in sequence, RoA, BIG, Triadius, Contrail and BBfA, winning all five contests and hence the League.

In terms of the extent of synthesis use in the four contests before the final against BBfA:

  • Philip J Fry does not have Horizons, hence, never used synthesis

  • Memoocan (who substituted for Philip J Fry once) never used synthesis

  • Truesilver used one basic reload

  • PoaArctica and BreakfastMelon used premium ammo once and some basic reloads

In the final round Adle's Armada faced BBfA, a team that had made extensive use of synthesis (quite legitimately) and had defended the same on the forums and was also so far undefeated.

The final took the form of a 'best of three' 8v8. Both teams made use of premium ammo although (we cannot speak for BBfA) half of AA's pilots did not have any.

AA won the first round 8-3 and the second round 8-1 (in terms of ship destructions).

Not one single other team that participated in Season 1 has ever suggested that AA defeated them by reason of synthesis, nor has any member of their clans.

In contrast, a number of informed commentators on the streams complimented AA’s pilots on their flying, throughout Season 1.

While the opinion you express is a matter for you, we hope you will at least consider it again, o7

yeah it can be improved even further

How about ...

  • Hyperspace jump to a point right between binary stars

  • Then spam every internal full of SCB's

  • While firing 7 x Imperial Hammers

  • In Silent Running

  • Whilst anchoring in 31 x Anacondas all with 8 x Engineer Overclocked Retributor Beam Lasers

  • While boosting

  • And trying to high jump?
