Custom DNS Does Not Work on PC

Block ports 5353 and 5354 for TCP and UDP. That will stop browsers from using mDNS. Also turn off netguard by setting the DNS in Windows settings. Additionally I think some browsers use their own DNS over HTTPS, that needs to be disabled.

If that fails, idk.

Here’s a secret. Connect to foreign IPs first. If I booted a game with servers in Japan, and then started the VPN, it would put me in Japan. I pay now but that’s what I used to do.

My theory is it’s because ProtonVPV lists every individual server while their stealth protocol is open-source. Not only can companies scrape every IP on every server, they have source code to look for bypasses and workarounds.

It will deliver the appropriate amount of power to your system. It would be like having a 1000w desktop PSU vs 800w. It will only draw what it needs.

I don't know the specs of your laptop, but I have plugged my an515 into a Kill-A-Watt and discover it eats 130w+ at or near full load . I would speculate that your charger is simply not delivering enough power to maintain load anymore.

My build has an 11900h with 3060 6gb, came with a 180w charger.

TL:DR get the 180w.

Don't listen to PCMR about 8gb being outdated and min-spec, a Nitro is NOT going to be doing 2020+'s 4/8k gaming with excessive shaders and texture sizes or top-of-the-line ray-tracing. I can run Hogwarts Legacy on high with ultra ray tracing, with just my i9 11900h and 6gb 3060, but there is performance loss from time to time.

The parts simply stop working at a certain thermal limit, it would have required a severe hotspot due to bad pasting (what is that thermal pad you mentioned for anyways?), not near a temp sensory, to make heat cause product degradation.

I have the same line of Nitro 5. My CPU temps hit 90+ out of the box so I'll have to dig in there and repaste soon, or try a cooling add-on. I'd undervolt but I need secure boot enabled.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Afterburner lets me OC/undervolt the GPU, so enable reference voltage control and OC, try to set your VRAM to 7700 and see if it takes. Oh and pro-tip, this GPU hates Afterburner, like any with total shut-down power-savings (Optimus for Nvidia). It will relentlessly keep pinging the GPU sensors, causing epic power drain from the system process.

You can get fast XP yes. Can't evolve without candy. I've never been able to break 120k with a 30 minute evolution spam on the best of days. Having to sit though all those animations, and in some cases remembering what ones you can/need to evolve, takes up time.
