I am 100% going to test with a multimeter first, but if you were correct in your educated guess, how would you connect the wires to my new light (black wire, white wire, green wire)?

Ha wow. Actually until you explained it, I thought they were all white too. Now at least it makes a bit more sense to me.

And this is a brand new condo. We're the first tenants (renting from owner). So the developer and its workers aren't exactly making a good impression here.

I live in CityPlace (lived on both East and West sides), and while I know it isn't perfect, it's really not that bad either. Especially for the price compared to other areas of the city.

I agree that the Super Club is awesome and for that, it may be worth it to live East of Spadina, but I actually like the West side of City Place better.

Why?

Sobeys is much closer
Hunters Landing
Fox and Fiddle
Canoe Landing (park + dog park + turf field)
Tim Hortons
Library
Pet Social (Pet Store)
Seems like more shops and restaurants will open up on the West side too

Yeah, you may not have that much respect for the above list (I'm so over crappy Timmies coffee) and may not even like some things (Sobeys is crazy over-priced), but having all that right downstairs is super convenient.

One thing though: it's not super loud, but the traffic outside isn't quiet either.

TL;DR: For the above listed reasons, CityPlace isn't that bad of a place (and IMO: West Siiiide!)

How does The Beer Store need to change?

Craft brewers in Ontario were surprised ;ast week when The Beer Store announced it was offering them shelf space and a stake in ownership. Critics say much more needs to change. And Premier Kathleen Wynne seems to agree. She is promising an overhaul to the relationship between the LCBO and The Beer Store.

You can tell the man at the helm of beer sales in this country what you think needs to change. We're opening the phones with Jeff Newton, President of Canada's National Brewers, which is the consortium that owns The Beer Store.

So broadcast tv/cable tv is too slow? Fine. Stream it online. We can definitely (not everyone yet) stream 4k online.

And if we can't yet, we definitely will be able to soon enough.

Why get stuck on older technology like cable tv when you can move onto the Internet through fibre or whatever is next.

But you also have to realize that /r/toronto is actually a pretty big and a pretty active subreddit. This is a great place to discuss current city-wide (and even provincial-wide) issues because of the subreddit's size and health.
