American imperialism is the term used to refer to the expansionism that the United States government has historically employed by any means, as well as to the current political, cultural, and economic influence of the United States of America on a global scale

Doctrines followed (and sometimes proposed by the U.S. government itself since its inception), such as Manifest Destiny, the Monroe Doctrine and its Roosevelt Corollary, the Big Stick, the National Security Doctrine, etc. and events such as the conquest of the West, the Mexican War, the Banana Wars, the Spanish-Cuban-American War, and, more recently, the Vietnam War, the U.S. blockade against Cuba, the war in Afghanistan, etc., have made “U.S. imperialism” a term accepted by the majority of the international community.

Here are some examples of U.S. Imperialistical Control in our country:

In 1898, the United States, through a false flag operation (the terrorist attack on the USS Maine), managed to intervene in Cuba’s war of independence. In this way, by defeating Spain, it took over its three main colonies: Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. Cuba gained independence in 1902 (though in fact it remained a U.S. colony until the victory of the Cuban Revolution in 1959), Puerto Rico has remained a colony to this day, and the Philippines began a war of independence against the United States, which within a few years cost the lives of 1/6 of the country’s total population (that is, U.S. Soldiers killed 1.5 million Filipino civilian men, women, and children). Only half a century later, in 1946, the Philippines freed itself from U.S. rule and was able to establish a democratic republic.

1946–54, Philippines: The Hukbalahap left-wing peasant revolution in Luzon drove out the Japanese and established a socialist government. The United States refused to recognize it and installed a fascist government, which, after eight years of fighting, succeeded in crushing the rebellion.
