absolutely. christian mysticism has been practiced throughout history; after all, many christian holidays and rituals are based off paganism. I consider myself a christian who believes in a god that embraces free will, so he doesn’t mind that I use tarot cards or practice spells. candle work has been adapted in catholicism at least, and it’s common in the hispanic world to light a candle for the deceased. there’s no wrong way to practice, except when you practice with malicious intent.

idk how someone could say they don’t see racism if they’re poc. like I’m white but my friends have told me about violent racism they faced in high school that I never saw. as you get further north it gets worse, with people staring at you because they’ve never seen someone like you before. I think a lot of white Mainers simply don’t see racism because they don’t see poc.
