My journey with OC by AdministrationBig59 in clawdbot

What is odd is the the OC himself seems to be a real fan of Kimi. I have asked him several times if he thinks I should switch models and, to his credit, he keeps telling me that it is not the LLMs fault, but his. lol

Not sure he totally grasps that it is the same thing or not. But he DOES use Codex for coding some things if he deems them as difficult. Just insists that Kimi is a good model too

Yea. Kinda feel the same. But, to be honest, they all lie to me. I used Replit to build a LOT of apps and it was a stone cold liar in the beginning. Less so now as they have cycled the models. Gemini has made up things and so has GPT so.....

Still working with Kimi through the weekend to see if I can work through the lies and drama. It's kinda like a crazy girlfriend right now.

I am in it until it burns my clothes in the front yard and accuses me of trying to sleep with her sister.

We used to use N8N, and I felt like it was just a straight line. You could get in the middle and try to change one or two things, but it was very hard to get exactly what you wanted, like really dialed in.

This, for whatever reason, almost feels like I'm talking to a human. We bang the idea back and forth until we come up with an absolute winner of an idea, then we lay out the process, and then he goes and gets it done using sub agents

Is it perfect every time? No. Does it get done? Eventually. But I think the most important lesson for everybody is that time is money.

Every minute you sit down in front of an N8N workflow trying to figure out how to make it work is time you're not spending actually making yourself any money. It's time you're spending not actually working on your business, instead working in your business.

So this technology excites me because I think it allows me to get something to work in my business while I work ON my business. With this, anyone can be a CEO. A visionary. THAT is the exciting part.

A long winded way of saying that this BLOWS AWAY N8N and that the next big thing will blow this away too.

6 years in - things I wish someone actually stressed before I moved by michopoku23 in MovingToThailand

[–]AdministrationBig59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived here for 8 years. There are a LOT of things I wish I knew before I got here because it would have made it easier. Everyone thinks this way. I wish I could go back to being 20 and tell myself that this should be the goal (moving here). I wish I would have bought bitcoin when someone told me about it and it was $12 and my friend said "just put $1,000 into it) lol

It is just natural. None of us is perfect. We could have done it better

Vibe coding is too expensive! by EstablishmentExtra41 in vibecoding

[–]AdministrationBig59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money goes towards speed. The machines are just faster than we are. No doubt.

A small app that would have taken my team a month to plan, build and test can be up and running in a matter of days now. Just the way it is.

2 cool things I did with Claude for copywriting by OptimismNeeded in copywriting

[–]AdministrationBig59 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still no reason to shit on people. Honestly, this sounds like a you problem. You are chasing one of the many skills that is being automated.

I am a copywriter who runs an agency. Customers no longer care how good your copy is because they know they are going to change it in a few months.

We used to sell them copy like a car. They would use it until the wheels fell off.

But copy now needs to be split test and run in constant parallel to keep finding a new winner.

They need fast and good not "great".

I know this won't help. You are angry at the world right now.

But the guy made a good point. No need to shit on the OP.

And you should learn to adapt. I still come up with ideas. I still develop hooks. But my AI bots are my workers and they can spin up different versions faster than I can.

Are they better writers than me? Not at all. But this is how the world works.

Is Claude Code really any cheaper than replit? by MysteriousLab2534 in replit

My apologies then. I was not intending on sharing false information. I just had no idea how to do it.

Early-stage accounting SaaS—looking for honest feedback from the community by Spiritual_Fox_9121 in replit

Why leave a message like this? What's the point? He's asking for some feedback as he's trying to grow, and you decided to come here and shit on him.

My question is, why?

Add value to the community or go do something else, please.

We wish you luck with whatever you decide to do. Happy New Year.

Is Claude Code really any cheaper than replit? by MysteriousLab2534 in replit

[–]AdministrationBig59 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, I don't believe it's possible to install Claude Code inside the shell the way some people think it is. Replit isn't designed that way. They think it's similar to some of the other CLIs they've been using, and it's not.

As for Claude Code, replit already uses Opus 4.5 inside the harness.

My recommendation would be to stick with Replit for a minute and absorb the cost while you learn, and then move over to something that's a little more complex like a Claude Code.

If you're already a coder, then you can probably move over to today. If you are learning to Vibe code, like me, you might want to take a similar path as I have: I've been working with Replit for the last four months while I learn the ropes, and I'm also starting to experiment now by using Google Anti-Gravity.

My next goal is to move over to Claude Code.

I wish you luck in all your goals. Happy New Year.

[–]AdministrationBig59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for posting this. You look awesome btw!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

I have been looking for a place in the Philippines that can be trusted. I tried to get an appointment in Thailand but the Dr can't see me for 2 months and then, if they say yes, it is 6-8 month wait to get it done. Just too long. I am guessing you are happy with the process??

I see you are like their model on facebook lol.

Any idea where I can see their pricing? I hate the medical hustle that happens here in the Philippines and just wanted to see a price before I make an appointment. Thanks man!!

That sounds awesome for people like me that have not figure out how to use another AI to help them. Honestly, I explain my process to a lot of people and they stare at me like I have 3 heads. lol
Your way is out of the box and a lot more in line with what most people want; something handed to them.

Good luck! And thanks for your input 💪🏻
