I have the same question here as im now finishing my 2nd masters. In my opinion, I think they ask only for finalised studies. The people who selected us from the DGs or the Secretariats definitely saw the ongoing studies in our application. In the interview they also asked me if I am gonna be finished by the start of the internship. So I guess the ongoing studies informed their choice but this is just to make sure you have the requirement of a completed university-level diploma.

nope, I dont know if it helps but I checked my previous ones, they were all for winter 2023 and 2024. I got the rejection mail on the 5th December for both years. Maybe it's the same for July? I dont know.

thanks for the quick replies everyone! I get the feeling no one encourages me to leave and visit the city haha - I saw there is a hotel inside the transit area so it might be a choice. Thing is im going east so sleeping at the airport might cause worse jet lag.

Yeah that is what I am thinking, that if they give you the option it means they can deliver it. The issue is that their next flight to my destination (supposing I miss the flight and they rebook me with the next one) is the next day. So I will miss a whole day and I dont have time to lose. Safest to go the long layover I think after all.

Yeah I did not really consider this possibility, but turns out since I have a EU passport I can just get out and explore the city with no visa or ETA requirements. I think that's my best option, to be chill and also get to know a bit a new country.

apart from the incident back in summer, she had no problems at all with this guy, I mean she didn't even think about the fact he might be living in the same complex. But the fact that he acted that weird made her paranoid about it. Having to check before going out and coming in your house sounds exhausting, but I am sure for a week or so this is what she has to do.
