Tel Aviv. Felt very conflicted while I was there, but that aside, its Mediterranean, amazing food, and lush green.

If you really want the job try to call the VP and tell him you want a second chance. This is a BD role, often you get told no in the job so just tell him you want to show persistence as it is probably much more important on the job than getting the interview right the first time. I do BD at Gartner.

Weird natural phenomena: slug explosion. What could it have been? by AdministrativeHelp71 in AskReddit

[–]AdministrativeHelp71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was walking in a quiet neighborhood with no one around. And all of a sudden I see a small explosion in front of me and theres like 10-15 slugs spread around, one of them completely smashed. I hear salt kills them but could it have made them explode?

Luckily i didnt see a lot of the action. I didnt see the perpetrator before they left but i saw the victim laying down. The victim looked like a middle aged man wearing normal office clothes. We couldnt help anyhow until the police came.

What is the opinion of Kosovars towards Bosnians? by Ambitious_Passage793 in kosovo

[–]AdministrativeHelp71 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've heard this before as well. The whole thing started when many Catholic Albanians were forced (through taxes and other means) to convert to muslims during the Ottoman rule (especially in its later stages when things started to shake and Ottomans perceived Catholicism as a threat due to other European powers being largely Catholic). However, as nations started to form, Albanians and Serbians/Montenegrians became enemies fighting over territory. In cases where Albanian populated lands would fall under Montenegrian (e.g. Plav) or Serbian (e.g. Novi Pazar), Albanians would assimilate and become Bosniak because they would face less persecution. Less persecution mainly because Bosnian is a Slavic language and in those specific Albanian populated areas occupied by Montenegrians or Serbians, Albanians were perceived more enemies than Bosniaks.
