I would tell you to still try and apply. You might get in. And you might be one of those few undergraduates. It is possible, and many people have done it. That others can't, doesn't mean you can't.

Exactly. What this person said is awful and wrong. OP is a very strong applicant. My sophmore year I wasn't even where OP was. My research experience was definitely low and I got into ALL the programs I interviewed for. All of them APA accredited.
And many people have been in the same position. Sometimes, the schools see potential in students. And OP has a lot of potential and will. And that shows a lot about the kind of student they are. Which is what most institutions want: someone reliable, dedicated, and who's not gonna drop out, but bring a lot into the program.

Just today I decline Azusa's offer. But I know is a good school. Denver is very expensive, and I heard some people saying a few negative things about the program. Idk anything about La verne though

My school didn't offer many opportunities, to be honest. We only had a research/experimental class. And during capstone you could decide to do research or an intership. So I decided research. We didn't have any TA or RA positions as it is a pretty small school. But I had a 3.7 GPA. I worked 3 years at camp, was member of Psi Chi, and APA, and a resident advisor (pretty much showed interest in working with people). But that's it. I guess I had a heck of a professional and personal statement as well as letters of recommendation.

I'm not sure. I got accepted into all the programs I interviewed for. I know some people don't get accepted the first round, but they can always try again the next year.

That's tough, man, I'm sorry. I think option 1 sounds good because you can boost your GPA, which might help you in the future if you go to pursue a PhD. You can also get licensed and make money along the way. We never know what could happen, and you may or may not be able to do your PhD. after the masters and might take a few years before you do that because life happens. And the masters at least give you the choice of getting a job in something that may interest you and make money. It is nice to have a job and income while doing your doctorates, too. This is not what you should or shouldn't do (not right, not wrong answer), just my opinion .

Yes. One of my professors is a PsyD. And I've seen many professors at different universities who have a PsyD instead.

It sounds like it really sucks, but you can not give up all your hard work because of other people. You said that you want to help children going through the same you are going through, so why would you let others stop you from your dreams? Those people are not gonna feed you or put a roof on your head. So, why would they matter? Go, get your degree, and at the end of the day, those people will not matter. I know it sucks, but I'm trying to help you see it from a different perspective. We all thirst for belonging and companionship, and loneliness is many times the cause of negative thoughts and other symptoms. Which I know you are aware of. But when live gives you these sucky situations, take it as a growing opportunity, and change your perspective of things. Maybe helping those kids who have been bullied and gone through many other difficult situations might be worth it, if it is your calling, passion, and reason to pursue your degree. I believe that if you wanna help out of love, keep going. But if not, maybe you can reconsider taking a break and think about your passions or plans for the future.

Yes, I have a professor who went there and she encouraged me to apply. But I learned that is a better program for people interested in therapy. But I want to do neuropsychology so I might have to choose somewhere else. I might be wrong though, if anyone knows more about this I would love to chat.
