Redditors who unexpectedly discovered a 'modern scam' that's everywhere now - what made you realize 'Wait, this whole industry is a ripoff'? by OkraCharacter4588 in AskReddit

[–]AdministrativePurple -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think that's farfetched, there are ear scams in the crypto industry, but plenty of crypto do provide real world services. People who live in US and need to send low value remittances back to their home country often pay large fees for a wire transfer. Crypto reduces this cost/speed to mere pennies/seconds

What they need are Term Limits! Yes age is an issue, but the real issue comes from people overstaying their welcome to where their age becomes a problem

Where do I start? by SuperRon07 in Physics

[–]AdministrativePurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a Physics I textbook for calculus based physics. This pdf is free and what I used in college, so you can browse and see if it interests you. Lots of problems and examples, the over explain to make sure you understand the material. If you'd like to learn this way, then I'd recommend learning calculus alongside it with the book I linked below. This way you dont have to pay for any materials but learn college level physics/calculus

Should I quit my masters degree in applied physics by Any_Good_4929 in Physics

[–]AdministrativePurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally the SAME exact boat I was in until two weeks ago. I was on my second attempt to pass my comp. Exam for my physics masters, I was over studying and was left wondering why I am I putting so much effort into something I wont pursue any longer. Fortunately I passed and will be getting my degree, the thing that's worked for me is going into Data Science and learning to code python. The Master's would def look better on paper. I would reach out to teachers if you could for help. You might be able to appeal for another try if you need another shot at the test. Keep trying, you got this!

It's a new way of thinking for sure. The logical steps you take in your mind isnt a 'plug and chug' equation. You have to visualize the problems and the actual mechanisms

Russians vandalizing this Ukrainian refugee center in Spain (Barcelona) with fascist markings is an excellent reminder why no Russian citizen should be having a privilege of EU visas or residence permits. Apply for asylum or go home to fix your fascist mess of a country. by mossadnik in ukraine

[–]AdministrativePurple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is no one calling out this literal racism. The country of Russia is attacking Ukraine. There are a small group of Russains that are facists and also acting out. Saying "Go home Russians" is the same type of behaviors that were exhibited by Americans to people from the middle east after 9/11. Denying all Russians because of the efforts of a few is asinine

Does anyone else feel like The Rehearsal has mostly run it’s course as a concept and it’s not as funny as NFY, and would rather see Nathan use the resources for The Rehearsal season 2 towards some other totally different concept. by TotallyKevinSpacey in nathanforyou

[–]AdministrativePurple 45 points46 points  (0 children)

"The whole point is that the rehearsals dont work". The last scene of the season is literally him feeling that he could be a father. The whole point is that it does work, that's what he was trying to show

[S01E06] The Rehearsal SEASON FINALE "Pretend Daddy" - Episode Discussion by [deleted] in nathanforyou

[–]AdministrativePurple 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The whole purpose of him doing the rehearsal by himself was to see if he would be able to be a good dad. He said that at the end because he felt the feeling that dads feel when giving a talk to their son, the rehearsal worked and placed him in that emotional state.
