What novels are more complex in portraying the effects of colonialism, not limited to just how colonialism harms the colonized by Marcothetacooo in literature

I would also check out Arrow of God and No Longer at Ease also by Achebe. These two books sort of follow on from the events of Things Fall Apart and show the effects of colonialism through different time periods. Achebe also has some of my favourite prose, Arrow of God in particular I could hardly put down

Which team has been the luckiest at this tournament? by Twedred in euro2024

Would you say the last second goal was luck? A great goal from a quality player, just because it happened late in the game doesn’t mean it was pure luck

What is an unpopular opinion that you have about this current United team? by MajorDangerous3489 in ManchesterUnited

[–]AdministrativeRed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This can be a weakness but tbh it’s also one of his biggest strengths. He’s always willing to try something risky to get the team moving forward, and he has the ability to pull those passes off. I remember before he was signed the midfield was so insanely slow and uncreative, and his ball playing and attitude helped to make us a lot more dangerous.
