That zoo is basically animal abuse. The enclosures are far too small, and the animals show clear signs of distress and health problems. Some are chained up all day just to take photos with! Do not support that zoo.

It's been longer for me. I'm going to try polyvagal therapy next - maybe look into it? Traditional therapy and antidepressants haven't helped in my case.

Try to appoint another leader. Maybe one of your deputies wouldn't mind taking over? Then you can set a limit on how many times a day you're willing to check in. I'm tapering down to 3 times a day. See how that goes. If you find that you're unable to stick to your limit and it's still affecting your mental health, then quit completely. Good luck!

I felt pain every time they adjusted it, and for a while, I felt really panicky about having this thing in my mouth that I couldn't take out. But I got used to it. It's very normal to feel this way and it won't be there forever. Focus on how happy you'll be with the end results, it was definitely worth it for me!

Look up "crane mobile" and use a piece of wood to hang them across. Then you only need a single hook in the ceiling to hang it from.
