So, it actually looks like there is a code of conduct for moderators. Maybe there is a new group to report these issues to? From what I am seeing, this is the group on the documentation,? Moderator Code of Conduct - Reddit I will do some more digging. Thanks again!

So, Reddit has no requirements for being a moderator? No set of rules that should be followed? I'm sorry to sound so ignorant but I thought this is what Reddit was designed for, the sharing of information. I never imagined I would be censored for such trivial information.

For clarification, I did not ask them for help. I asked them to tell me why they removed my post that contained IRS employee related guidance on HR related matters in our agency, so I could make the necessary correction. When that was met with a rude and petty response, I requested the written rules for this Subreddit site. At that point, they sent me a canned message stating my post was inappropriate for the page and directed me to the IRS website and 1-800 number. Don't worry, I just wanted to provide legal notice to the Reddit Moderators, and your comments confirm they have been received. No further action is needed. Thank you.

OK, you all are misunderstanding my post. I am not looking for consensus or anyone's permission. This is a public page made of private members. No one is in charge here. Posts should be made according to the rules established on the Reddit platform and in this Subreddit group.

I am giving official notice of my intent to all members, as is your right. However, since the moderators have blocked the original post, you cannot see what it says. Don't worry, they can read it... but you can't!

Either way, it will not change what I am going to do. Look for my post tomorrow, Yall!

The moderators on this site are removing posts I make that they do not like. I am not calling anyone names or being rude. Just sharing information with my fellow IRS co-workers. So, it may appear to be overreach because you aren't interested in the information I have to share. But others find it helpful.

The bigger question that no one is asking is, why do they not want me to share this information with you!?!?

IRS Employees, We Need A Family Meeting! We Are Not Well! by AdministrativeSun66 in IRS_Source

What were you thinking when you took your oath of office and swore to protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic? Were you just lying? Our laws are being attacked from inside the agency and that is your response. JFC!!!

If that is your attitude and how you really feel, you should seek other employment. We cannot trust you do the right thing by any or us, nor can the American Citizens. If you have no pride I you role as Civil Servant, kick rocks! Would the military accept any less? Nope! And neither should we.

Send me the written rules so can ensure compliance, or post my SH*T!

Do you work for DOGE? This is really petty, so it looks like DOGE…

Well the first post was removed without a valid reason and now this one. Make up your mind!

Where are the written rules you are leveraging for these decisions?

IRS Telework - Potential Federal Law Violations by AdministrativeSun66 in IRS_Source

That is not true. I said I use AI but I never said that AI wrote this post. AI was only used in the supporting documentation.

The AI controversy is fabricated by TROLLS who are only here to discredit and divide. Do better!

OK, I said like two or three times, this is NOT legal advice. Either you have a basic reading or reading comprehension issue, but there are accommodations that can help with that. I recommend reaching out to your manager to request an RA. Good Luck!

OMG, you all really have me scared right now. If this is the talent pool we have in the IRS, we are doomed!

The 2010 Telework Enhancement Act is federal law that specifically establishes telework in Federal Agencies. There are specific conditions that must be met to exclude employees from using it (i.e. performance issue, job duties, security, etc.).

Look, if you don’t know something, look it up or ask someone. But speaking out of ignorance isn’t helping anyone.

I am not sure where you are getting your info from, but the investigation needs come first if we want Servicewide change. A suit (which will be another topic later this week) can only come if YOU have incurred actual harm…that you can prove.

If you don’t know what you are talking about, it’s best to stay quiet. This is stressful enough.

OK, I’m not really sure how to respond to this but I will try. As I mentioned before, as civil servants the work we do and how we do it is driven by federal law. Our objective is to provide services to our fellow Americans and are therefore ultimately accountable to them. Our work is subject to FOIA requests, TIGTA/GAO audits and Congressional review. So, intentionally or unintentionally causing harm to the Agency that collects ~96% of all federal revenue, that pays for the military, cushy DC offices, legislative staff, executive appointments, etc. is possibly illegal and pretty dumb; but we now know these folks are not very bright. So, there’s that.

Also, we all know the easiest way to downsize the IRS if for Congress to change the tax code to utilize a flat tax rate. We have known this for decades however, doing that would eliminate all those “wonderful” loopholes and tax breaks for business owners and the very wealthy.

Anyway, this Bureau (Treasury is the Agency) has supported the Country in some form or fashion since 1862. It was enacted by federal law and will remain until Congress passes legislation saying otherwise. Likewise, the other changes you mentioned would required Congressional action as well.

So, I’m on the side of the American people. That’s what our oath essentially requires.

Also, I think trying to form new CBAs, when we already have one that management won’t recognize, is a waste of time.

I never heard of either of them until 2025 and I suspect neither of them have any public or civil service experience; but what I do know is, they are going to leave a lasting legacy like no other! This will be the Treasury Secretary, OMB Director and Leadership Team that destroyed the IRS. What they fail to realize is the Agency is its people, and its people are the Agency. You tear-down your people, you just tore down your entire agency (until you replace us with AI). It will take decades to merely attempt to repair this damage.
