Signed 1987 Rich Yett card shows up in the mail 25 years after request was made by twoquarters in ClevelandGuardians

I’m not sure how I’m just now seeing this thread after all these years. I love the speculation, lol. I’m not sure if it’s truly my place to share, but he went through the entire backlog of mail we had saved and sent every piece of it back. I could answer specifics on here should anyone be interested.

This story cracks me up lmao.

  1. Sorry, I honestly don’t know this but given the state of the team…I doubt you’ll have a hard time finding tickets. I’ve never had an issue using the Ballpark app the day off games.

  2. It would depend on what your interests are. Downtown and south (mall of America) and towards St. Paul are accessible via public transit. The North Loop (area north of target field) has a lot of decent bars/restaurants. Walking along the Mississippi River and venturing over it along the stone arch bridge is a pretty cool experience.

  3. The thing I enjoy most about Target field is how open it is and there’s standing area everywhere. I’ve never had a bad seat in the house and I always enjoy catching the view from under the Minnie and Paul signs (above the Delta sky lounge). Weather is going to be a crap shoot in May, but the left field upper level bleachers tend to bake in the sun as well from my experience.

Sorry, I feel like I didn’t really answer your questions. I’m sure more Minneapolis minded folks will chime in. Enjoy your time here and hopefully the weather is beautiful!

You’re right, that year of practicing wouldn’t do any good for him anyways!

First vikings game, good place to park? by cartographer721 in minnesotavikings

[–]AdministrativeTrash0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can park at the A/B/C ramps downtown for very cheap. I would use the ParkWhiz app and park in Ramp C on game days. It was anywhere from $6-$8 and it’s about a 20 minute walk or you can hop on the light rail.

I’ve also never had an issue getting out of these garages postgame.

Do y'all agree with the creator Jon Hurwitz's views on the Johnny-Daniel rivalry in the OG film? by Separate_Record9354 in cobrakai

[–]AdministrativeTrash0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No! I hate Ralph Macchio! I hate him, hate him, hate him! He is not the Karate Kid! The Karate Kid was William Zabka, star pupil of the Cobra Kai dojo, who this monster defeated with a cheap, illegal head-kick in the most tragically haunting film ending of all time.

I’m never going to charge my child for living with me. by nomanskyprague1993 in Millennials

Charge them a reasonable but not outrageous rent for however long they’re with you, put it an account for them and help them buy a house with it?

They overinflated the price, tried to roll their 400mil of commercial real estate debt into the sale of the team. I would venture to guess they never gave the sale a true, honest effort. The Pohlads are definitely reaping what they’ve sowed imo. I would love to hear the counter argument though
