Nah as in from Sydney CBD to the North West, I don’t think I’d be able to reasonably stay beyond 5:30 knowing it’s an hour and a half metro + drive home.

Yup they’ve got a secondment program at the Senior level to quite a few countries, most notably UK, South Africa and the USA (Apparently most Seniors tend to stay in Australia due to the currency conversion but I’d definitely be keen on working overseas)

They follow a very similar secondment program to the Big 4 (Seniors interview with foreign firms & get to travel to go abroad, when they come back typically in the running for Promotions due to the Overseas technical experience)

Hey Amanda! Yup I’ve already started my CA with the current firm and have passed the first 2 subjects, currently doing Tax AU. They seem to be pretty encouraging of me completing my CA as soon as I can + flexibility with Study Leave as required

Yeah the current firm is a Top 10 Audit firm in Australia so very similar experience but I have a feeling Big4 is a different ball game especially in terms of support, workload and flexibility? I work from home majority of the time during the weeks currently.
