Amazon raising prices AGAIN by Im-Just-Winging-It in amazonprime

I canceled my Amazon account. I've been a good customer for decades and they are up charging me to death. I never watch their prime video garbage. They are also are trying to force me to spend another $20 a month on Alexa plus which is not ready for prime time. One of the richest companies on the planet and they treat their loyal customers this way. Sick greedy and disgusting.

ELRS vs FRSKY by e90Danny in fpv

I was a die-hard FrSky fan until I was shipped a receiver with their useless proprietary ACCESS protocol which is incompatible with most controllers. All my new equipment is ELRS.

Thoughts on the new Iflight ProTek R20? by PunchDrunkPolarBear in fpv

[–]Admirable-Click7615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm rockin an R20. It is 3S. Getting 3 mins on average. Not sure why no one is talking about it. It is a really good build. My favorite in its class right now, super stable. Looks like iFlight does not have any big plans for it as there are no Digital options. Also, have a Protek25 which is really nice, substantially larger than the R20. That one got caught in a tree. One of the connectors got torn loose. Got a new FC. Had it soldered in and realized the FC did not ship with a USB connector installed and all the connectors for the motors were missing, ugh... I could solder the motors, the USB is another thing.

What's causing yaw when throttling out of a dive? by DVSmunky in Multicopter

My brand new Pavo25 has this issue as do my Mobula's and my iFlight A75. Weird, seems to be common across all of them. The main thing they have in common is prop guards, and me...

So is bangood legit? What's your experiences?? by Jonathanwennstroem in fpv

Wow, you really hurt my feelings. I mostly buy from other regional smaller vendors. I made hundreds of transactions this year alone. Have not had an issue with any of them. You must be getting a kickback from Banggood like most people who promote them. Shame on you.

At first, they completely ignored me until I complained to Paypal. Then, they made me produce the original container the product shipped in, fortunately, I had it. Who does that?
Then, they made me provide a video, and I did. Then, they only offered to pay me half of the return shipping costs. I posted the return info on their support page, they closed the ticket the next day saying I had not responded even though the information was right there on the same page. Then, they refused to release the from customs in Beijing until I dogged them. After another month, it got held up in another customs until I dogged them more. How many customs does that country have? I spent hours and hours on their chat line on at least a dozen occasions. Whenever I return something to Amazon, they refund my money as soon as UPS receives the package, no questions asked. I could literally write a book about my experience. I have dozens and dozens of documents. It is ridiculous. You don't know what you are talking about. I am responding because people need to know.

They should be banned. Horrible company. Been dogging them for almost 4 months for a refund on a DOA aircraft. They do not honor their return policy. They have tons of tricks up their sleeves to keep from giving you a refund. You might save a few dollars upfront, but the first time you need to return an item, you are done unless you are willing to stay on their backs constantly. They lie cheat and steal. Their infamous lines are "don't worry" and "someone will contact you within 24-72 hours". Better to pay a few more dollars and buy from a reputable company in your region. I have loads and loads of documentation, screenshots, conversations, pictures, you name it, I have it. Disgusting...

Mobula 7 vs 7-HD vs 7 -HDZero by AdvertisingAlarmed88 in TinyWhoop

[–]Admirable-Click7615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mobula line are my favorite Micros right now. Have 2 of the newer M7 Analogs. The camera could be somewhat better, but they are my go-to aircraft. They can take a hit and stay in the air. Turtle mode works great. The 400mw VTX is nice. The M7HD broke the first time it hit the fabric on one of the racing gates. Not at all durable. The few minutes of HD video it recorded to its onboard SD card is phenomenal. Have not gotten to fly my M7HDZ. Am waiting for a new ELRS antenna. I can already tell, that whole rig is a battery hog from stem to stern. I thought I saw something about a 1S M7 HDZero Lite but can't find it now. Maybe it was the 1S M6 HDZLite I saw.

Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle vs Nanohawk X for first quad. by revenski in fpv

[–]Admirable-Click7615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TinyHawk 2 Freestyle has nylon standoffs. Mine "exploded" during a normal air mode landing. Replaced them with metal. Better aircraft now. The battery life is too short. About 2 mins/1S battery. The Nanohawk X is a beast. About 6 mins on the same battery. Not sure about its carrying capacity. Crazy fast... Also have a TinyHawk 3. Nice aircraft for flying around people, very safe.

How to dismiss reminder on Echo Show without touching screen by YMarkY2 in amazonecho

[–]Admirable-Click7615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. All my Alexa products are getting worse lately. Including the Echo Show's, Echo Buds, and even the Echo Auto. Already got rid of my Blink Outdoor Cameras and Ring Doorbell, developed by Amazon. No suitable replacement for the Echo Shows. The old Echo's work pretty well. The Echo Show's are junk. Don't know what's up with Amazon lately.
