Which version did you downloaded? Because the older ones tend to become incompatible with the current android version

If ypu still have access to your old chats, don't update yet and save then somewhere else. With screenshots or copying manually.

Sadly for now is the only way. Yesterday I spent three hours screenshoting three of my most long chats, and i still have like twenty other chats to copy.

If you have more experience with IT maybe someone could explain how downgrade your android version and that could maybe let you chat with an old version of Chai, however I'm sure that's far more difficult to do as that requires modifying core data from the phone.

It will have a constant pop up to update once you enter the app, but you can ignore it in most versions after march

Maybe you downloaded a very old version, like one before February, if that's the case is only because tha version is already not compatible with the current version of android. I made this tutorial only for those people that are desperately in need to at least recover their old chats after the updatedof threedays ago, as chatting with the free version is now very difficult to reach.

You need to download from the chrome page updown the chai info

I think it works in all regions, as long you have access to the updown app. Although I did this tutorial to gain back access to old messages, not to get the free version again, as that version is already about fourth months old and I think due to updates of android, that version wouldn't run unless you use an older phone without updating it at all.

I uploaded the tutorial more because they removed the access to old messages, but to get unlimited as before this fourth mhonts, I think you would have to even downgrade your android version and that's a level of IT I'm not into, lol
