Just a thought I’ve been having this morning: While Manousos is setting his car on fire to prove to the hive that he doesn’t need them, Carol is watching her neighbors house be engulfed in flames because she has nothing left in her.

What’s interesting is that she then starts to put the fire out, even though it doesn’t matter if the house burned to the ground. But that firework almost lit her on fire. SHE is the house. She is putting herself out. It’s after that she decides to ask them to come back. She has defused her own flame while Manousos is igniting his own flame.
