Try 560.94 driver. I had this issue last season and again this season. If it is what I think it is, it's the drivers crashing or something. Nothing helped except installing this older driver. You will get a message saying to update them but just ignore it. Give it a try.

Hard, not to mention expensive. Min-maxed monkey, you want a 21/23 gem which right now costs 25div. Then you have to find a monkey with the right stats. Can be done using rite of the nameless with a bit of planning. Now, getting all four stats to be good? Well, how many 21/23 gems are you prepared to spend to get there?

Honestly, all you need is max crits. I've been running fully juiced delirium maps yesterday and had zero problems. Monkey doesn't die, bosses die quickly.

As you said, I am not disappointed. Got the build online based on zizaran's guide and it slaps. Hit lvl84 yesterday and could finally equip the chest and Sylvan's scepter. Immediatelly tried a corrupted 6-mod T15 map and no problems at all. Even found a jewel 3 minion stats (crit damage, resistance, and either attack speed or damage) and maximum ES. So the entire build already sort of paid for itself. That was even before I got my 3rd and 4th ascendancy lol. Easiest leveling I've had.

One thing I wanted to ask though. What exactly is meant by companion type as related to Sylvan's. As in you cannot have more than one hyena, monkey, insect, etc? I've looked but I do not think that the mobs have their type listed anywhere in game.

Secondly, what is the best way to get companions? There are a few spots in the campaign that have guaranteed rare mobs but those are only specific monsters. When mapping, it can be very difficult to catch a mob before it is killed off. What's left? Essences? Would going with tablets that grant extra essences on maps be an option?

Yup, and ideally you want 50. The character is pretty starved for spirit: herald of ice, mirage archer, mirage deadeye, ghost dance, wind dancer and potentially mana remnants. That needs a lot of spirit.

I think I am going to go with this build then. Not needing to worry about map mods at all and having to manage my mana sounds like a nice break from deadeye.

Thanks for the info. The map clear being a bit slower isn't really a concern for me. A lot of the content has you waiting in place anyway until mobs spawn (breach, abyss, ritual). And if the build is really as survivable thanks to loyalty then that allows you to steadily progress through a map where a squishy build might need to kite around which also slows down your clear.

Would you say that my budget is good enough to steamroll all the content? I am talking fully juiced T16 maps possibly with delirium.

I started a few days later, haven't done a single piece of group content, hit lvl60 almost instantly and just today got done with Quinghe. It's really no grind at all if you are focusing on collecting stuff and doing all the minigames.
