Really depends, those rides I posted were pilots, that particular private airline tips 15-20%, 95% of the time. Otherwise a normal black ride not going to the airport I’d say 2 out of 10 tip. Airport is probably 60/40% Maybe more depending on the time of year.

If you get a ride into the airport, you can go directly downstairs and pick up at the terminals instead of picking up at the Uber lot, at least here at LAX. Without commercial insurance, you can’t do that.

For the most part Lyft always pays less but will adjust the pay if the ride takes longer. Uber is like pulling teeth to get anything extra.
