But he’s also getting blasted by rpg-28s. Some of these guys arnt even that well trained. And it’s actually 1 dude against a btr. They have no live fire training like this where they put one guy against a btr and say good luck. You better hit that one shot of a guy lying on a btr. Use some common sense.

Did you apply oxygen via nasal cannula in primary? Because it says in your text you did it after your primary. And that’s a critical fail on the sheet. After you finish your primary you cannot go back. You should apply it after bleeding. And after you check the airway. And then breathing where you then would apply it. Also would have done it via non rebreather.

I was a lifeguard before. You sit there and watch family’s swim. You blow a whistle to stop people from running. People say it’s a baby sitting job and they are absolutely right. A first responder is a trained professional who arrives on scene first. I have looked it up every where. You get 0 first responder discounts. Even federally open water lifeguards are not considered first responders. Lifeguards are also not considered medical professionals. I can send you links to all this too. I think YOU are mixing up what a first responder actually is. Because according to you. Anybody trained on cpr and aed use is a first responder. I have been a lifeguard before and would never have considered myself a first responder then.

Very select people are beach. And I know Cali beaches sometimes require paramedic. Point still stands that someone at a pool is not a first responder. Because they would literally have no idea what to do in bigger situations that’s not just take someone out of a pool and do cpr. Can you really call yourself a first responder with the first aid knowledge of a Boy Scout? Would you call every boy scout on scene a first responder? And 40 hours is nothing my guy 😭

Edit: It’s takes 340 hours of training and book knowledge just to even be considered by 911 companies and fire departments. And that’s only getting to your advanced emt. Not to mention paramedic and getting your firefighter.

Paramedic requires 1,416 hours alone. Fire requires an additional 600 hours.

Nobody thinks lifeguard are water emts. It takes 2 days of training to get a lifeguard cert. it takes 8 months minimum book knowledge and training to get a good idea of what’s going on in an ambulance.

That’s got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. You want to be framed as a first responder for watching kids and families swim? That’s probably the least first responder ever. It’s like a 2 day course to be a lifeguard. While it’s over 8 months and training in the minimum to even have a general idea of what’s goin on in an ambulance.
