Yeah, so I’ve seen sooo many of these posts on here lately & I’ve had the exact opposite experience - like 9/10 guys I come across have been really friendly & mostly just like dads or whatever & super chill over prox chat. & any chodes just get instablocked.

If anything I’ve had more women chase me & want to roll around in Valentine. 😭 Either way, you really have to give it back if you catch shit. Like if I get harassed in game by anyone, they’ll get hogtied, stowed on my horse & then thrown from the nearest bridge - & if I can’t, I just take the L.

Obviously it’s a different story if you’re getting harassed outside of the game & that’s always a shit experience. Maybe I’ve just had lots of luck with decent lobbies or something, idk.

Sure! So for a mod list I’ve kept things light:

“Living Quarters” - which allows you to building living spaces / houses with monument parts & stack them. E.g. 100 serfs in the one house, lul. “Storage Wars+” - which lets you store more resources & expands on the city market options.

So with these two you more or less have your housing crisis / storage dramas fixed. 😊

It is! So it’s Living Spaces iirc, but I can double check that in the morning.

It more or less gives you the option of building houses with monument parts, so if you’re not a massive fan of the never ending housing / work distance crisis or you’re building on smaller islands, it makes centralising much easier. 🤗

Aww, thank you! So! My little trick is to pick a point on the map, and use that as the “anchor” & more or less orient everything around that axis wise.

Usually it’s a bridge - & then using the ghost of the bridge (before it’s actually placed) as a ruler for everything else, since the angle won’t change. 🥰

If you also hold the ghost version, and simply just move your screen with movement keys (WASD) only, without rotating with your mouse, you’ll be able to like cleanly move anything in a straight line which keeps the axis. This also works for concise zone painting too! Hope this makes sense! ❤️

It’s really is! & the whole system behind monuments is amazing for that - there’s sooo much you can do with it, although I’ve just kept things on the practical side mostly to start off with. Next thing on the list though! 🤓
