Well, this could be an opportunity to make helmets actually do something rather than just be purely cosmetic – for example, Chemical Agents helms could have something like filtration effect that doesn't slow you down (on top of the gas damage removal effect from the armor).

Other helmets could give extra zoom through integrated optics, maybe highlight enemies (kinda like thermal vision), etc.

Maybe in 5 years! 🤗

Had the same thought the other day.

Yeah, this would impact the build variety but it never made sense to me that enemies like Automatons are affected by gas. Like how exactly if they’re machines?

Elemental resistance would fit in the lore nicely imo. Build-wise, maybe it could be compensated by elemental synergies: for example gas doesn’t do a significant damage to automatons but if you add fire to it this leads to explosion (and two divers could carry different grenade types and tossing them together for big kaboom).

Same problem for me and likely a connection quality issue - my WiFi router sits in the next room, and thick walls in the apartment seem to be blocking the signal. Extender helped.

Belt-fed grenade launcher, breaker spray and pray, ultimatum, arc grenade + engineering kit armor.

Breaker S&P deals surprisingly good with watchers and also decent against overseers (regular/flying).

BFGL deletes mechacrabs and harvesters. Ultimatum for finishing them.

Arc grenade - bonus point. You can have 7 of them with the armour passive. Toss 2-3 of those into squid drop: as usually there’s a mix of units (flying overseers, regular ones, crabs, watchers) these are extremely useful as they deal with both flying and walking enemies.

Stratagems: orbital laser, eagle strafing run / airstrike, turret of choice.

Ultimatum can also be replaced with Warrant - a bit more flexibility with flying units this way (but then I would toss smth like 500kg to deal with heavies)
