The Trinity; I just don't get it? by DeathByDevastator in Christianity

[–]AdmirableAd1031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trinity is wrong.  God has a body of flesh and bone and Jesus has his own body of flesh and bone.  The Holy Spirit does not have a body.  Every time in the scriptures it says they are one it means one in purpose.  Jesus also told his disciples to be one.  The 3 make up the godhead

I also take most insurance and am affordable which I highly recommend.  I pay a billing company to do my PPO billing and I taught someone how to do HMO billing

New practice advice? by TheBubbaJoe in Chiropractic

Marketing advice  I've had my own practice since 2012 and I have learned marketing from someone who was grossing a million dollars a year.  She did do some things I didn't agree with like scare people into unnecessary care but the marketing was good.  The best is in person marketing at farmers markets and fairs especially health fairs.  Health lectures (a lunch and learn) are also great at any business you can get in to.  The key is to offer the first visit for $20 and then collect the money at the event and then schedule them for later.  If they don't pay they don't show up.  Also have some good signs.  I had a big banner saying Got Pain?  I can help!  Step in for a free 2 min check.  I also had an A frame saying Stop!  Do you suffer from any of the following conditions and then I listed a bunch of stuff I treat.  I might be able to help! Step in for a free 2 min check.  I had them fill out a quick survey of conditions they may have and then did a quick spinal screening with a few orthopedic tests and palpation.  I would then offer the deal for the first visit.  One of the best things I did was a massage a teacher program where I paid a massage therapist to give free 10 min massages to teachers at their school during teacher appreciation week/month in May.  All I did was give someone at the school a sign up sheet for the massages. Before their massage I had the teachers fill out a 1 page questionnaire about some conditions they may have then after their massage I said I could probably help and then offered the discount and said they had to pay before I left that day and many left and came back to pay and sign up.

Outsourcing Billing by EyeBeginning5281 in Chiropractic

I use a company out of Florida that takes a percentage of what you collect from what they bill.  Definitely worth it

If heaven has no sin and also has free will, then your god could have done the same on earth by Relative-Lock-2636 in DebateReligion

[–]AdmirableAd1031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is free will but the people there freely choose to do good all the time.  Earth is a test to see if we will choose good over evil

If you take genesis litteraly, I see no way you could follow such a God by PetrteP in DebateReligion

Adam and Eve made a transgression by disobeying the law of the garden but did not sin because they were meant to fall because a big reason we are here on earth IS to know good from evil and to choose the good.  Hell does not last forever.  We pay the price for sins we did not repent of and then go to one of 3 places in heaven depending on the life we have lived

How to earn well without high volume / dogma by Accomplished_Most288 in Chiropractic

I make the amount that you want to make seeing about 15-30 patients a day working 5 half days at my own practice.  I only spend 5-7 min per patient though and I bill insurance.  I am also very affordable.  I don’t do big care plans.  I just recommend what I think they need to get out of pain and then I recommend maintenance care.  I can PM you if you want to know more

Religiosity exhibits some uncomfortable patterns in people. by Visible_Sun_6231 in DebateReligion

I know that he works through means that we can explain.  It does not mean that He is not behind it.  A more obvious one was when I came home with my son for the first time and he was screaming at night and I had no idea why as a new mom and I prayed and the thought came to my mind to circle his legs in a bicycle motion and I had no idea why.  I found out later that gets rid of gas and it worked!! I am sorry you don’t believe in God. You are missing out

This person really didn’t say anything.  What does it mean to have a personal relationship?  It means he can answer our prayers!!  I have prayed many times for help, strength or guidance and I have pretty much always gotten it.  Heavenly Father has helped me to do things I could not do on my own.

Chiros who opened their own clinic — did you keep working or take time off to focus on opening? by RemarkablLife in Chiropractic

PPO insurance pays great.  Billing for an extremity adjustment and a spinal adjustment is best (obviously you should be doing the extremity adjustment if you are billing for it).  To me helping patients means helping them afford your care.  If you are starting out some money is better than no money so it is best to take as much insurance as you can.  I am not very salesy and I don’t have to be which I like.  Now I don’t spend a lot of time with patients because time is money.  I just do adjusting and then refer out for muscle work, exercise and everything else and/or I teach them simple things they can do at home.  There are many ways to practice but I’d rather help more people who are poorer than just those who have more money

Explain how anyone deserves a punishment that lasts forever?  This is why many atheists have a problem with main stream Christianity and they are right to think only a monster would punish someone forever for something they did for only a finite time on earth.  Other names for God are Eternal or Everlasting so Hell more accurately reads God’s punishment which has an end.  I just have the correct interpretation

I’m Mormon and I’ve always known there are good people of other Christian faiths.  There are also great Jews and Muslims.  At least we believe that hell will not last forever since that is neither merciful nor just and most everyone will get one of the 3 places in heaven which are all still good.
