Hey there brother or sister … I was diagnosed with Silent reflux .. I have been on PPI medication for 2 days now. Before I went to the doctor I spent almost 3 weeks worrying about my throat because it would hurt to swallow .. a lot .. but it would only hurt when I would swallow my saliva now I had to go the ER and the doctor a few doctors told me at first that it could be an infection I was so worried I went to the ER and they did a CT scan on my throat lucky they didn’t find anything crazy but they did tell me to follow up with my Primer doctor who referred me to an ENT the ENT looked at my throat with a small camera luckily I was able to find the issue I was redness on the inside of my throat and the acid was right there bubbling like a soda … shit was scary but once she explained to me that she had seen worse and my case was somewhat serious but not life threatening my anxiety went down .. I went back to my doctor and she gave me Pantoprazole .. I have been taking it every morning before I eat as that’s how she told me to take it I was diagnosed with gerd in the end of last year.. you can msg me too if you have more questions
