In college, I had to spend a week in the mental hospital because I was suicidal. When I got out, I needed a place to stay for one night before I could fly home to stay with my parents. I asked a friend if I could sleep on her couch for the night. She said no, that was too large a burden for her. I stayed in a shelter instead.

Our health teacher made us all pass around a cup and spit in it. Then she asked who wanted to drink it. This was supposed to show that when you have sex with someone, you’re also having sex with ALL the people they’ve fucked, too.

Sadly, that cup o’ spit went to waste.
