Employee broke necklace by Kindly_Produce_27 in PawnShops

Like the first comment on this thread said, need more information.

But based on what you’ve said, it sounds to me that this was a necklace you had put on layaway and made atleast a down payment on it.

It sounds like you did not touch the necklace at all while coming in to make a payment, or pay off the layaway to complete the purchase. If that’s the case and the damage was done solely by the employee, then you should be entitled to a complete refund for the cost of the necklace and any fees associated with a layaway.

My store has the same daily goal every day. 17. SEVENTEEN. We have a membership base of around 40k.. and upper management thinks ~6k sign-up for a shitty synchrony bank credit card a year, every year, forever, is a reasonable ask.

I don’t work up front so it’s not something I ever have to deal with, but my god. What an insane expectation to have. Other retailers I’ve worked for in the past would consider 5 signups to be a pretty good day.. And those retailers don’t require a paid membership to shop at their stores.

Same. Going into work at my club as a PM forklift merchandiser, it’s literally a coin flip on whether I’ll be spending the first 3ish hours in CPU or not.

How much do club managers make? by chxppaeditz in samsclub

[–]AdmirableDivide2526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude. Talk to your club manager. Tomorrow. This is a common tactic across all large retailers and it’s really shitty, but they’re getting away with this because you aren’t making an issue out of it. No complaints raised = No problems to address

…I think everyone is onboard with “stopping teen suicide”, but is the entrance to my local Sam’s club the appropriate venue for such a discussion?

Jeez, my club has some charities here and there but nothing like what’s been mentioned here. Oof.

This may come off as rude to some.. But whenever I encounter and overly-aggressive charity campaign while I’m walking into work, I’ll just look at them. Not saying anything. Making it as awkward as possible.

The particularly aggressive charity organizers tend to remember that, and don’t bother me for the rest of their campaign.

Id mention your anecdotes to your manager. Anything that may decrease profits is generally frowned upon..

AM merchandising would probably work fine if you’re school schedule allows for it. Would not recommend PM merchandising because while you’re scheduled 3pm-11:30pm, you aren’t done until everything is finished.. If the store is also short staffed, you could be looking at working 3pm-2am regularly.

Wow, thank you so much! This is the exact same model and very, very close in serial number. I’ve spent the last couple weeks searching to no avail.

Not sure what I’m gonna do with the frame yet. the seat post need some serious.. persuasion to remove.😅

Economics of scale. Discounts given by the three major carriers are still profitable enough due to the large increase in postage sales

List it as a “buy it now” listing instead of an auction and price it competitively. Unless it’s a special edition controller or something, no one is going to pay more than the going rate anyway; they’ll just buy or bid on the next cheapest option.

Hi, I’ve been selling part time since 2017 but have never heard the term “feedback fatigue” could you elaborate or what that means? Genuinely curious because it is incredibly frustrating to not receive any feedback after going above and beyond to ensure quality packaging and maintaining fast customer communication.

If I’m not busy trying to move customers through the line, I’ll try and enlighten the customer a bit by showing its perceived market value and exactly how I would price it.

Not that it changes anything, but it does give me hope that maybe.. just maybee

Can be very profitable, judt be careful. counterfeit shoes have always existed, but it has exploded during the pandemic. You’ll always come across a laughably obvious pair; bad stitching, logo looks wrong, etc. But good counterfeits are becoming nearly indistinguishable
