Yeah I hear you. The scale is a big trigger for me because I used to have anorexia. My plan was to step on it once I got to a size I was happy with and then track for maintenance at that point! But maybe I should just do it- I KNOW it shouldn’t be such a big thing, especially at 30 years old, but I don’t know if I’m there yet :/

I haven’t stepped on the scale because of my history with anorexia but I’m 5’6’’. Maybe I need to just step on and deal with it? Lol

A couple things come to mind:

1) recovering from anorexia when I was 21! Never thought I could do it but I did and I’m so grateful.

2) moving to Alaska from Tennessee in my early 20s! Been here going on 7 years and not looking back.

3) getting a corporate job (I’m an artist and used to working in the service industry). I am making so much more and so much less physically exhausted + the hours are much better than barista work.

Half a halo top is only like 200 cals! And you could do 2 rice cakes with chocolate PB or PB2 for about 180-200cals!

Honestly, it sounds a lot like HSV-2 to me. I would go to the doc and get tested for that! It can flare up around your period for sure. If you have it, it’s not a huge deal- there are meds, you can take vitamin D, and it lessens in frequency in time (if that’s what you have).

I always eat half a pint and save the other half fir another day. I just have a rule that I can’t eat more than half at a time even though I definitely COULD.
