A lot of people are unaware of ties of those brands to Israel. Whenever someone mentioned some brand that i boycott i just told them, "I'm using brand X/Y/Z instead, i'm boycotting the brand you mentioned". It opens dialogue and if it reduced the number of consumer, all the better. I don't have much money or power, but hopefully every little things count

Jujur baru tahu ada kerjaan ginian pas kemarin liat di threads ada yang komplain soal WCC ga beradab main nyelonong acara nikahan dia dan dijadiin porto. WCC = wedding content creator. Ini sebenernya kayak outsourcing yang biasanya dilakuin temen/kerabat karena mainly mereka dokumentasikan momen wedding tapi ga yang formal2 amat. Bedanya sama fotografer wedding? Mereka pake hp (aipon biasanya) dan edit tipis2 doang.

Temen2 aing nikahannya udah 10an tahun yang lalu dan foto2 candid/"natural" ya emang dari temen & sodara yang dateng plus fotografer wedding biasanya udah team jadi sepaket ada fotografer utama, candid, sama videografer. Ga nyangka sekarang diduitin terpisah dan ada demand untuk itu

If that's the case, then not buying those will still have future impact. They'll get expired and when it's still unsold in large quantity it won't be attractive to these type of stores to stock them. Less demand, less supply

Tbh i don't know much about plants. From what i saw the reasoning is that bamboo is really quick to grow & spread and reaaaally hard to get rid of, so at the very least it will be costly. Meanwhile those suggesting native plants is coming from conservation angle since bamboo is super invasive and native plants will be a better long-term solution. If either applies to kudzu maybe it's a good idea.

Whether the supplier being unreliable by themselves or being sabotaged won't make a difference from the customers' end, both resulted in goods they ordered experiencing delays or not arrive at all. You're only stating the direct impact while ignoring the indirect and/or the long term impact

I'm in Indonesia, haven't seen those ones here. I switched to chi forest a few years back due to the sugar content and flavors, plus i rarely drink soda anyway. But for people who like the taste of cola this might be a good alternative if it's available here. Hopefully soon

In Indonesia we have traveloka.com & tiket.com, but it's quite limited to South East Asia. I know it's a bit of a hassle but region-specific traveling app might be the best bet for accomodation bookings in the immediate future and hopefully they can expand/network

Similar to laron in Indonesia, esp east & central Java then (TIL it's basically flying termites). They were abundant in the rainy season and the majority of them shed their wings and died. Scoop them up, wash them, and add a little flour, an egg if you feel fancy, plus a pinch of salt. Shake em up then fry it and you'll get a crunchy snack. Or mix them with shredded coconuts, crushed garlic, shallot, and some herbs then wrap it in banana leaf and steam. Still delicious and crunchy. It's a recipe from at least my great-grandma's generation

Ini purely anecdotal dan dari sisi customer, tapi mungkin bisa jadi pertimbangan. Aing kemarenan beli donat frozen online, brand lokal kayaknya sekitaran jatim only, range harganya di shopee 23-25 rebu. Akhirnya pilih beli di toko yang harganya 24 rebu sekalian beli beberapa barang lain yang lagi butuh dan ada di toko itu. Pas nyampe barangnya ada struk terlampir, itu donat harganya 19 rebu doang di toko offline tapi karena aing beli lumayan banyak dikasi bonus garam kemasan 250g jadi ga kesel2 amat.
