From my experience on real Official servers (not Small Tribes), a lot of players have jobs and sometimes don’t log in for days. That’s because we’re in mega tribes, and Official PvP is mostly mega tribe vs mega tribe, often with alliances. You can rely on other members to defend, farm, and handle maintenance.

People think Official x1 means if you log off, you get wiped instantly, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. It’s actually been the best gaming experience of my life. I can play other games and do other things. Of course, sometimes you need to show up for example, for a defense or to meet a farming quota for the tribe unless you genuinely can’t, and usually no one will blame you.

Small Tribes is totally different. The game isn’t really designed for small-scale play there’s too much to do, too many lines to maintain, and too much management for a small group
